Maybeboard

This is a ramp/control deck. It wins by resolving a Scapeshift for guildgates!

The main win condition in this deck is to resolve a Scapeshift with 11 or more lands in play. Boseiju, Who Shelters All is in the deck specifically to resolve Scapeshift. This combo is interrupted by land destruction, so make sure strip mines etc. are off the table. Thespian's Stage can be used for pseudo-protection by copying combo pieces, but is not a solid defense. The total combo costs .
  1. Play Scapeshift.
  2. Sacrifice all lands except for the guildgates and Maze's End (float mana).
  3. Fetch the remaining guildgates (except for one), Maze's End and Deserted Temple
  4. Untap Maze's End with Deserted Temple, then activate it to fetch the last guildgate.
  5. Assemble the maze!
Child of Alara is a commander with a death trigger. Commanders can be put the commander back in the command zone instead of anywhere else when changing zones. Since this option is a replacement effect, Child of Alara's ability will not trigger if you opt for using it. Therefore, in order to make full use out of Child of Alara, reanimation is key. This deck plays reusable reanimation in combination with sacrifice engines (that aren't blown up by Child of Alara) to repeatedly wipe the board.
