[CMD] Uncle S(r)am's Armory

Commander / EDH* Aggro Mono-White Voltron



Hello guys!

This deck is a Mono White Equipment-based Voltron deck that aims to do one thing and ONE THING ONLY: Snipe down each of our opponents by either dealing 21 commander damage using Sram, Senior Edificer(something that can happen as early as T3.) or enough damage with our backup creatures. Note that we should always use our best judgment on which player we should focus and kill first, in general the strongest player at the moment or the one you are sure you wont be able to beat late game.

The deck packs a lot of recursion effects like Brought Back, Buried Ruin, Restoration Specialist, Sevinne's Reclamation, Angelic Renewal, Gift of Immortality, Hyena Umbra, Sword of Light and Shadow and Sun Titan so we can't be easily disrupted and can always get back removed creatures and equipment needed for the win. Teferi's Protection is a broken protection spell that can turn the tide of any game upon resolving.

Some of our equipment kinda have a high equip cost, to help us with that we are using some cards that cheat the equip cost like our Plan B creatures Balan, Wandering Knight and Heavenly Blademaster which with enough equipment in play can deal with any non-infinite life player. Puresteel Paladin not only cheats our equips but also grants a draw each time an equipment enters the battlefield. Armory Automaton not only cheat our equipment but also the ones in our opponents control to him. Hammer of Nazahn not only enters the battlefield attached to a creature we control but also grants the same effect to other equipment we play, with the same ability Sigarda's Aid also let us play our auras and equipment at instant speed, which is great for sneak kills.

Our armory is well balanced so we don't get too many redundancy with some keywords (No point in having a creature Trampling three time, HAHA) and we also have a lot of tutors like Enlightened Tutor, Open the Armory, Steelshaper's Gift, Stoneforge Mystic and Inventors' Fair to get the best equipment for the current situation; Recruiter of the Guard can fetch us most of the support creatures on the deck, such as Selfless Spirit, Grand Abolisher, Remorseful Cleric, Leonin Shikari and Mother of Runes. Expedition Map is here to help us to get access to our utility lands: In need for some mana? Get Mishra's Workshop. Need evasion? Get Rogue's Passage. Grave hate? Get Scavenger Grounds. Our favorite dwarf got stolen? Homeward Path baby.

To finish off, so we can stop combos or deal with threats we added a few spot removals like Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, Generous Gift, Darksteel Mutation, Grasp of Fate, Return to Dust as well as mass removals like Austere Command and Winds of Abandon (Can be used as a spot removal too).

P.s: Mishra's Workshop can be removed for a massive budget reduction, just drop it for the Utility land of your choice.
