Updates Add

Removed Duskmantle Guildmage. Mindcrank can combo out with Bloodchief Ascension, and although the combo is a bit harder to pull off, it’s also harder to remove.

Removed Otherworld Atlas. Too slow, and I don’t have Mind Over Matter to go bananas. If I ever get my hands on a copy of MoM, however, maybe I’ll put it back in. Or maybe I’ll just add a Temple Bell.

Removed Mizzium Mortars. 4 damage is not a lot, indestructible runs rampant around here and it’s RRR to overload.

Removed Double Negative. Countering only 2 spells at a time while risking being countered yourself for 3 colored mana is not really nice. Took 5 counters to my Double Negatives and lost soon afterwards before I learned this one.

Removed Wheel and Deal. Haven’t playtested it enough, though. One day I’ll put it back in and have another go.

Removed Painful Quandary. Got to cast it only once. It sat for 8-9 turns on the table and it did very little, relatively speaking.

Removed UB and BR Scrylands, UB and BR bouncelands, Crosis's Catacombs and Crypt of the Eternals, basic fetches like Ash Barrens, Smoldering Marsh, Choked Estuary, Foreboding Ruins, Thespian's Stage. Experimenting around with the mana base. Too many of my lands enter tapped and this has generated enormous headaches during games.

Removed Sunken Ruins. Not gameplay concerns but monetary ones. If I’m gonna spend this money i’d rather get the UR filterland to offset the color pair’s lack of a battle land.

Removed Life's Finale. Boardwipes gotta be at least a bit cheaper, go around indestructibility or be one-sided.

Removed Spiteful Visions. Never got to do much, except that one time when I was murdered by a Blue Sun’s Zenith for 9, courtesy of my own Visions.

Added some basic lands. Now I have 5 swamps, 1 mountain and 4 islands.

Added Arcane Denial. Surely you won’t get angry that I just countered your commander? I just gave you 2 cards...

Added Hour of Devastation. Let’s see just how indestructible you are against Nicol Bolas.

Added Kess, Dissident Mage for extra wheeling/recursion value

Added Runehorn Hellkite for extra angry wheeling + a new pet if I ever need 5 power in the air.

Added Talismans of Indulgence & Dominance. Ramping ahoy!

Added Glistening Oil and Phyresis. The Great Work shall continue.

Added Summary Dismissal. Much like Counterflux, if I’m gonna say “no” I’d rather say it really loud

Added Languish. This is more of a placeholder than anything. The real slot goes to Black Sun's Zenith or Toxic Deluge. But it’s still a reasonably nice boardwipe.

Added Cascading Cataracts, Mana Confluence, City of Brass. Some color fixing/filtering that enters untapped.

Added Shivan Reef, Underground River and Sulfurous Springs. It’s painful, but it’s fixing.
