Intro:

Reworked my artifact deck again! I've had it since I began 15 years ago and still making changes to it. Maybe board is packed with cards I've used or have considered for this deck (and can afford haha, some cards were gifts). Open to suggestions but keep in mind I'm a college student. :)

Roll Of Each Card (Alphabetical, then main and side board):

All Is Dust x1: Board wipe everything, except your field.
Ancient Tomb x4: Lots of mana, need it for speed. Platinum Emperion Stops the damage.
Candelabra of Tawnos x1: Untap lands for extra mana.
Darksteel Forge x1: Everything indestructible on your field except planeswalkers, until you get Mycosynth Lattice .
Defense Grid x2: Stop or slow down counter spells.
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn x1: Win-Con.
Expedition Map x3: Find lands for Tron or Tolarian Academy usually.
Foundry Inspector x3: Lower all artifact costs and counteract Sphere of Resistance and Trinisphere .
Homeward Path x1: Get back Platinum Angel or Platinum Emperion mostly.
Howling Mine x3: Keep card flow up.
Karn Liberated x1: To exile permanents.
Karn, the Great Creator x1: Great way to change the tide of war and pull in what you need. Combos to pull in: Mycosynth Lattice or Crawlspace with this card.
Lifeline x1: Keeping my creatures alive, nice for Spellskite , it makes them have to use another card/ability to try to remove it by the end of that turn. and to remove Lifeline also they have to blow up both. (Can't be used with Platinum Emperion in play, then you need Tolarian Academy ).
Lodestone Golem x1: Make their cards cost more.
Mana Vault x1: High mana value, mostly for early game. Nice with: Metalworker , Defense Grid , Expedition Map , Foundry Inspector , Howling Mine , Phyrexian Revoker , Spellskite , Sphere of Resistance , Trinisphere , and Well of Knowledge .
Mana Vault x1: Mana ramp, nuf said.
Metalworker x4: Massive mana ramp. Infinite with Staff of Domination and 3 artifacts in hand.
Phyrexian Revoker x2: Keep other's cards in check like counter spells.
Planar Bridge x2: Pull in needed cards.
Platinum Angel x2: Stay alive and can't lose.
Platinum Emperion x2: Stay alive, don't take damage from Mana Vault and Ancient Tomb .Although can't use Spellskite with this in play, need Tolarian Academy .
Rings of Brighthearth x1: Doubling up abilities for: Candelabra of Tawnos , Karn Liberated , Karn, the Great Creator , Planar Bridge , Spellskite , Staff of Domination , Ugin, the Spirit Dragon , Well of Knowledge , and The Chain Veil .
Sol Ring x1: Mana Ramp, staple for any MUD deck.
Spellskite x2: Redirect spells and abilities. Need Tolarian Academy if Platinum Emperion is in play.
Sphere of Resistance x2: Make spells more expensive.
Staff of Domination x1: Combo piece for Metalworker .
Strip Mine x1: Destroy their lands if needed.
Tolarian Academy x1: Mana festival.
Trinisphere x1: Keeping the base cost of cards up. Don't play early game unless you have many mana sources.
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon x1: Hit creatures, board wipe, and pull in all the goodies.
Urza's Mine x4: Duh
Urza's Power Plant x4: Duh!!!
Urza's Tower x4: OMG just get it...
Wasteland x2: Blow up their lands
Well of Knowledge x1: Card ramp, nice when you have too much mana and not enough cards.

Sideboard Cards: Most of the reasons for sideboard is because they are handy but in specific cases.

Akroma's Memorial x1: Nice to protect your creatures.
Blightsteel Colossus x1: Just destroy them.
Crawlspace x1: Less attackers for them, less of a chance for them killing you, creatures, or planeswalkers.
Crucible of Worlds x1: Combo with Strip Mine or Wasteland and keep blowing up lands.
Ensnaring Bridge x1: If low on cards, do this to slow their attacks.
Grafdigger's Cage x1: Some graveyard hate for decks pulling stuff in. Inhibits: Lifeline , and Planar Bridge .
Mycosynth Lattice x1: Combo with Karn, the Great Creator , They can't use any active abilities of cards including lands.
Nevinyrral's Disk x1: combo with Darksteel Forge and if you have Mycosynth Lattice you blow up their lands too!
Phyrexian Metamorph x1: Copy a strong artifact or creature in play.
Platinum Angel x1: Emergencies!!!
Silent Arbiter x1: Protection.
Sorcerous Spyglass x1: Slow down the enemy with a card they would destroy you with.
The Chain Veil x1: Double your planeswalkers abilities.
Ward of Bones x1: Slow down your enemies.
