Who Needs A Battlefield To Win A Long Game?

After playing that Kruphix Tribal Eldrazi deck, I found that I never needed to play my eldrazi to win. All they ended up doing was putting a huge target on my back just because they were in the deck. While I simply won most games fogging everyone else out and playing combos I've decided to take every eldrazi, but Kozilek, Butcher of Truth (just for his graveyard return ability) out. Now going to more of a Instant-Style Pillowfort Theme I just play heavy politics. By keeping others safe and keeping everyone's board state's calm my opponents start to run out of supplies, while I always have a minimum of 20 or so cards in hand. By keeping things nice for everyone they all leave me alone as I keep on drawing hoards of cards and sitting quietly in my seat. Once I have a combo and two counter spells in hand and tons of mana floating I play my combo and win. I'm still messing with this deck, so any advice or tips would be appreciated.
