This is a Tier 1.5 Godo deck. It's a non-glass cannon Godo deck that sets itself up for win multiple times. It's my opinion that you will win more with Godo if you exclude cards that destroy your resources, such as Krark-Clan Ironworks.

This deck is also stacked with alternative win cons based on infect and commander damage. So if you want to turn this from a cEDH deck to a casual one, simply substitute Helm of the Host with Grafted Exoskeleton! Inquisitor's Flail is already in the deck as an alternative kill con.

Bald Godotron -

If playing without Helm, you can build a maximum Godotron like so -

1) Ramp to mana.

2) Cast Godo, fetch Blade of Selves, then equip it.

3) Attack with Godo, fetching and equipping Hammer of Nazahn and Argentum Armor.

4) Attack with Godo for the second time in the turn, fetching and equipping Inquisitor's Flail and Whispersilk Cloak or Swiftfoot Boots.

You now have an indestructible, untargetable, unblockable, double-power 11/9 Godo commander with 2x targeted removal!

Pure Helm Swap List:

If you don't need the Godotron alternative play line, you can do the following swaps to go all in on the Helm combo -

Dev Notes:

  • arg armor - a|c|e|l
