The gameplan of this deck is based on slowing down yours enemy’s decks by doing some stax/hatebears pieces early-game making their Midrange look much more powerful. This deck is extremely strong against Storms and fast-combos punishing each play in a different ways.

Playing around Thrasios:

Sometimes you will prefer to play by controlling the game and playing around Thrasios, Triton Hero , it let you pass completely open turn to interactions and in case nothing happens because your opponents are afraid to take a Counter in the face, you use their ability to card advantage or ramp. Basically you will use it when none of the other plays worked or if you have lost all your stax / hatebears.

Playing around Bruse:

Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder is a underrated Commander that can totally neutralize Ad Nauseam / Necropotence decks and synergise really well with such powerful cards like Umezawa's Jitte , Kessig Wolf Run and Sylvan Library .

If you can play Bruse in early game that will cause a lot of pressure in yours life matters opponents because 6 damage in a Ad Nausean deck means 6 draws less.

Bruse can also transform it self through Eldritch Evolution into whatever creature you like into this deck but most time Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker will be the best choice to win the game fast.
