First stab at building a deck from scratch. So, hey, why not start with a 5 color deck? D'oh! I learned that it's really much more difficult than you'd think LOL

I've got a little bit of everything mixed in - blue control, white protection, and duplication... all with with splash of red and black pain thrown in for fun.

Starting out, I didn't really have a theme. Instead, I threw a bunch of interesting cards together and started seeing what might work.

What filtered to the top were lots of small cost blue spells, artifacts, enchantments, and a few planes walkers. I do have Jace, and wanted to use him somewhere, but not in a blue mono deck, so he's in here. I realize he's outrageously expensive. Also, in reality, I will most likely include dual lands, only because I already have them as well.

The sub-theme ended up with trying to clone existing battle-ready assets, rather than having to make any choices of my own and lock my deck into a specific creature type. Which i quite like.

I've worked hardest on getting the mana right. So far, in the test games I've played against my other mono-green deck, this deck has beaten my greenie every time. I'm actually shocked. (Arguably, my mono green still does have a bit of a mana flow issue.)

Feedback most welcome. Thanks for looking.
