Description

This deck originated from my Pride of the Kraul deck originally lead by Mazirek.
What's great about Korvold is that, similarly to Mazirek, he cares about all types of permanents being sacrificed, not just creatures. Additionaly, he obviosuly draws you tons of cards, which Mazirek cannot.

Retired: I've retired this deck mainly due to the unnecessarily high power level of Korvold and lenghty turns.

Strategy

The theme of deck is to use everything and anything you can a a source of value. Using mana from tapping lands is boooring. Everyone can do that.
With this deck, any card you see - on your board or in your hand - you can milk for value.

• Got a bunch of permanents on board you don't really need? Sacrifice them for value!
• Tapped your lands for mana? Great. Now sacrifice them for more value!
• Drew a bunch of cards doing that? Fantastic! Discard them for MORE VALUE!!!

Basically, having stuff is for pussies, you've got to go all in and sac' it all. Don't worry, you'll only end up with no land base occasionally. :))

Win conditions

A) Sacrificing large amounts of permanents (often lands) with cards like:
Mayhem Devil / Juri, Master of the Revue / Ruination Rioter.

B) Buffing a handful (or two) of tokens with Mazirek and swinging with them for the win.

C) Commander damage, which is very easy to achieve, since Korvold grows fast on his own and has built-in evasion.
