Juri, Master of the Revue
Legendary Creature — Human Shaman
Whenever you sacrifice a permanent, put a +1/+1 counter on Juri, Master of the Revue.
When Juri dies, it deals damage equal to its power to any target (creature, player, planeswalker or battle).

TheoryCrafter on Beta Brackets Update Today
2 weeks ago
Personally, if we're going to have a whole bracket system, we may as well just unban everything that isn't an ante, conspiracy or is racist and set a minimum bracket for specific cards. Such as all cards currently banned means you can only play it in Bracket five while a card like Teferi's Protection can only be played in perhaps(?) no lower than bracket 3.
With that said I don't think there was a bad call the whole announcement. I know Y'all aren't happy about Coalition Victory. However, it's a spell with a mana cost of 8 and every color except Green has at least one counter spell with a mana value of 2 or less that can handle it. Not to mention the countless spells that cost one black mana to force a discard and there's cards like Naturalize to destroy Dryad of the Ilysian Grove or Leyline of the Guildpact(which some players won't be able to afford purchasing, anyways) as soon as Coalition Victory is cast.
While I don't ever see myself building a deck around Braids, Cabal Minion I can definitely see someday putting her in the Juri, Master of the Revue Deck I am currently building.
Because Sway of the Stars is now unbanned, it's not that difficult to win a game of Commander with Battle of Wits in it. One just needs to activate Spawnsire of Ulamog's 2nd activated ability to put a lotta Eldrazi on the battlefield, target Battle of Wits with Oblivion Ring or Detention Sphere, then cast Sway of the Stars for the win. Provided you can find a playgroup willing to tolerate a wish board of 103 or more cards.
May you draw well.

Victor's Enchanting Resurrections
Dec 20, updated 12 cards but lost again. Thomas took me out first, after dominating with Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools and Lagomos, Hand of Hatred. He had a huge Mob Rule, borrowing a Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. Thomas reminded me that it was my suggestion to add Mob Rule to the deck. He tutored in each of about four turn cycles with Lagomos, Hand of Hatred before sacrificing Juri, Master of the Revue to kill me--28 damage was just a point or two over my life total.
Victor, Valgavoth's Seneschal finally won in its fourth game, its second game with 12 cards updated. We all removed Kalamax, the Stormsire's permanents in a two-hour game. I had Extinguish All Hope and several turns later, Life's Finale targeting Will, on Sovereign Okinec Ahau, was enough for him to concede. Starfield of Nyx returned a ton of enchantments. I stocked my graveyard by drawing 17 with an early Necropotence in response to Ben targeting it with removal. Elspeth Conquers Death made multiple appearances and got an Auramancer to recur the Starfield of Nyx very late game. Legion Loyalty and moreso, Dictate of Erebos, made a huge contribution, thanks also to the Fanatical Devotion. I attacked with my enchantments for the Starfield of Nyx win at 5 life.

Cool build! I guess an easy upgrade to suggest is Supernatural Stamina over Ashnod's Intervention - it saves you mana to bring the creature directly back to play rather than your hand (unless you're worried about exile effects?) I also think it might be worth running one copy (or more) of Juri, Master of the Revue over a Dreadhorde Butcher. Being legendary keeps you from loading up on him, but I'd wager that your sacrificing a guy every turn is more reliable than connecting with a 1/1 attacker, meaning you're more likely to get a bigger bang when you finally cash Juri in for damage!

I have Juri, Master of the Revue in play as well as Drivnod, Carnage Dominus. I sacrifice a creature token, does juri get 2 counters or one? Juri dies later, do I get to deal damage equal to his power once or twice?
Bigsplashy on Korvold Counters

I'm making a Korvold, Fae-Cursed King deck focused on using the sacrifice to make counters. I want to focus on sacrificing food and treasure and use some counter synergy to gain some board presence with big creatures. I want to use cards like Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, Juri, Master of the Revue, and Kresh the Bloodbraided. What else could fit this idea?
Also, what is a good ratio of sac outlets to sac fodder?

Added Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient & Grim Hireling. Removed 2 non hasty creatures in Hellkite Tyrant & Juri, Master of the Revue. Also swaped out a Forest for a Bojuka Bog. Still looking for a Amulet of Vigor.

Juri, Master of the Revue + Feign Death
Admittedly, you can use this on any commander, but this is who I'm building around right now. Would Juri return to the battlefield after death? Or return to the command zone?

Sengir and Kediss - Dark Privilege (v1.6)
What are your thoughts on The Ozolith, in combination with cards like Carrion Feeder and Juri, Master of the Revue? If Sengir would die, his counters would be stored on The Ozolith. Carrion Feeder is a free sac outlet, that gives himself counters, and Juri gains counter from sacrificing other cards. They both could boost counters a lot.
Also, Jeska, Thrice Reborn in the 99 would be a house for triple Sengir damage :-) And I believe that any card that gives him infect would probably one-shot the table, when Kediss is on the battlefield. But maybe that's a bit mean.
Anyway, I enjoyed reading your primer! Trying to make a comparable Sengir/Kediss deck myself, and was looking for some inspiration/help. And definitely found it here! Thank you.
