Krarkashima: Go Down Gamblin'

Commander / EDH UR (Izzet)

PookandPie

Coins are bound to break me, but he ain't busted yet.

Krark and Sakashima deck. Make many copies of the Sakashima-Krark clone, toss some coins, annoy everyone with your ten minute turns.

Make it up to them by Lightning Bolting yourself for 360 damage.

"Oh, but Pook-" you say, eyes full of worry, "Could you not just attack with all the Krarks you have?"

No, because he can't hold a weapon. He ain't got no thumbs.

"Well fine, then, could you not just... you know, Lightning Bolt your opponents?"

No, because he can't aim. He ain't got no thumbs.

"You're even running Grapeshot!"

Yeah. And it says any target, which includes me. This is what Krark was made to do: Go down gamblin. Honey, I'm just a natural gambler but I try to do my share.

There's two important things to know when piloting Krark and Sakashima: If you get at minimum 1 tails and 1 heads, you get a copy of the spell you cast and it goes back to your hand. This gives you a lot of flexibility, as casting Gitaxian Probe and Snap 10 times in one turn is not normally how the game is played. Getting more copies of Krark on board means more chances to copy your spell's effects and get the original card back in your hand to re-cast after. To do this, we can easily sort Krark's cards into groupings:

Generally speaking, having two of any of these works well. There will be some games where you draw Phantasmal Image and you get to spend 14 life casting Gitaxian Probe to draw into mana generators or additional clone effects because you keep getting 2 tails and 1 heads, or 2 heads and 1 tails.

This deck is primarily meant to be an amusing meme. I'm fully aware the deck is capable of winning, but it's a lot more funny to play up the gambling antics and let the chips fall where they may.
