An original and fun way to Borborygmos enraged in a EDH group. He's the deck's main killer. He comes on the battlefield, says GBRLGRRGBH and kill people. Some cards are here for giving him haste.

When our big boy is not on the field, the deck uses a strong land-synergy. Drawing cards by cycling lands and getting them back with Life from the Loam is a routine. These draws are giving the alternate win-cons. They are :

• Dark Depth+Thespian Stage

• Scapeshift+Valakut

• Multani

• Crucible of Worlds/Ramunap's Excavator+Strip Mine (which is not a kill but a really hard-lock because you can keep going with sorceries while destroying lands)

• Persistant Mists+Drownyard Temple (that let you escape against all aggro-deck without any other win-con other than attacking)

• Grove of the Burnwillows+Punishing fire (which is not a combo but a really recursive blast)

The lands combos are difficult to get over for the opponent because of Crucible of the Worlds or Ramunap Excavator. Crucible in particular can stay a long time on the battlefield thanks to Buried Ruins. If by mistake both cards are in your graveyard, you still can get Buried Ruins by using Petrified Fields and finally recover the Crucible.

You can get all the pieces of the combos by tutoring them. Ermit Druid and Life from the Loam make efficient self-mill and give lands. Sylvan Scrying and Realms Uncharted give what you want in your library, and most of time Realms Uncharted is not a choice for the opponent because you can get your lands back. Gamble is useful for tutoring Life from the Loam or Multani. Green Sun Zenith make a turn-1 ramp with Dryad Arbor in early and a strong tutor for Ramunap Excavator in late game for example. In late-game, you can get any of your combo with Traverse the Ulvenwald too.

Be careful, the deck really hate grave-hate (Rest In Peace for exemple). Destroy this kind of cards as soon as possible with Broken Bond or World Breaker.
