Nicole's take on Karador, Ghost Chieftain

Karador, Ghost Chieftain is the first EDH/Commander deck that I put a lot of effort and money into creating. I always have fun playing and never tire of this deck; holding sentimental value to me, it will always be my main deck for the format. Thanks to the Boonweaver Combo, Karador can finally start to show some presence in higher tier play. I will continue to evolve this deck as new cards are released and the meta changes as I want to have it performing to its best. I always welcome and encourage constructive criticism as it helps a ton!

Combo/Win Condition

My deck utilizes the Boonweaver Combo. I did not come up with this combo myself, but I am certainly glad to have stumbled upon thanks to cobblepott.

Boonweaver Combo:

• I must have an infinite sacrifice outlet on my side of the field.
• Boonweaver Giant enters play. Find Pattern of Rebirth and attach it to him.
• Sac Boonweaver Giant to find Karmic Guide which returns Boonweaver Giant and Pattern of Rebirth.
• Sac Boonweaver Giant again to find Fiend Hunter, who exiles Karmic Guide.
• Sac Fiend Hunter to return Karmic Guide, who then returns both Boonweaver Giant and Pattern of Rebirth.
• Sac Boonweaver Giant again to find Reveillark.
• Sac Karmic Guide, putting her into the graveyard before Revellark enters play.
• Reveillark returns both Karmic Guide and Fiend Hunter.
• Use Karmic Guide to return Boonweaver Giant and Fiend Hunter to exile Karmic Guide.
• Sac Boonweaver Giant to tutor onto the field anything I wish (which is usually Blood Artist or Altar of Dementia).
• Sac Fiend Hunter to return Karmic Guide, which returns Reveillark.
• Repeat.

Once I grab Blood Artist or Altar of Dementia I can create an infinite loop with Fiend Hunter and Karmic Guide, killing my opponent(s) off of Blood Artist or milling them with Altar of Dementia.

Fiend Hunter can be replaced by Saffi Eriksdotter or Renegade Rallier effectively.
