Bow to your Queens of Machines.

I have finally decided to build a semi-competitive Commander deck. I say semi-competitive because this is the first deck that have have built which I feel is not a casual build and is much more resilient than my previous attempts. However, it is not refined, perfected nor meant to win consistently.

The Commander

Sen Triplets is overshadowed by Sharuum the Hegemon as the go to Commander for Esper. Or, Zur the Enchanter if going for a Voltron build. However, Sen Triplets is, in my opinion, the perfect Commander should you wish to play Esper Control. Since Sen Triplets is also an Artifact Creature I have opted to utilize an artifact theme as well, especially since Esper is known for having access to powerful Artifact interactions.

One of Sen Triplets biggest weaknesses that many people point out is that it is restricted to Esper colours and working around any or decks make the Commander difficult to use. While this is true, as a control player you don't necessarily need what is in your opponents' hand you just need to know what's there. Also, stopping them from casting something in response to one of your plays is of vital importance, especially against another control deck.

The Deck

The deck is built to utilize the powerful interactions of artifacts, counters and overall disruption to maintain control of the game. One of my favourite cards in this deck is Mycosynth Lattice as it allows for powerful interactions for my entire deck. Not only that, but it gives Sen Triplets access to any opponent regardless of colour. In theory I can also perform a one sided board wipe should I have Darksteel Forge on hand and something like Planar Cleansing or Austere Command.

I have a number of cards I would like to acquire for this deck so that I can fine tune it. Chief among them are:
