Hello and welcome to this peculiar creation of mine.

Once upon a time a few years ago I wasn't particularly fond of partner commanders (mainly due to the negative image cEDH has given it for me). But then c20 happened and I was really kinda onboard again. After my efforts to build with one of the new pairs ended in a Xyris wheel deck it sat on the back burner for a few months. That was until I started sorting my legends pile again and I found these two men. I've always liked Ludevic's effect and I actually used Sidar Kondo in an old Arcades build of mine (which was since retired), so I do have some experience with them.

After a while of debating over diferent decks I finally landed one this partner combination and the odd theme behind it. It's still in the works and it probably will be for a while before it becomes final. I'm testing with different toolbox creatures but the rest of the deck has mostly stayed the same. And as for the lands, a lack of funds prevents me from upgrading it right now. Performance wise its doing very good. As long as I don't keep a stupid opening hand (which I often do) the deck usually manages to pull out ahead, even against our play group's most dreaded decks. Though it doesn't quite surpass Xyris (which is undoubtedly my best performing deck) this one absolutely takes the number two spot.
