Waterknot
Enchantment — Aura
Enchant creature
When Waterknot enters the battlefield, tap enchanted creature.
Enchanted creature doesn't untap during its controller's untap step.

does the enchantment have to be specific to Freewind Equenaut like Waterknot to activate its ability or can it be something that effects your entire board like Glorious Anthem ?
i wouldnt actually use Waterknot on my own creature it was just the first example i could think of for an aura

Glad you were able to find a place for Quiet Contemplation! Don't know if this card is any better than anything you already have, and you may already have as many water-bending cards as you want, but ran across Waterknot and I thought of you. It's actually nice pseudo-removal against commanders that want to attack or use tap abilities, since it doesn't allow them to go to the command zone! Not as good as Darksteel Mutation or Song of the Dryads for that purpose, but still has use, supports your "non-creature" theme, and is very on-flavor. :)

Mirage Mirror is definitely my pet card for commander. It's so versatile. Make it a copy of an opponent's permenant that benefits you or double up on one of your own for double triggers are another ability. Need a blocker? Have ? Make it a copy of a big body for a lethal block. Or a big attacker.
A couple examples of "Mirage Mirror plays" that I've pulled off:
I got attacked with a Marit Lage and I turned Mirage Mirror into a copy of Marit to block it.
My wife was playing her tap/untap tribal Darevi deck and I was playing my Vial Smasher burn deck; I had Kokusho, the Evening Star out and she put Waterknot on it and proceeded to attack me with some flyers. I made Mirage Mirror a copy of Kokusho, saced the Waterknotted original which dealt 5 to wife and then blocked and killed one of her flyers with my Kokusho copy.
Mirage Mirror is slotted into the 99 in 95% of my commander decks. I think it flies under the radar and a lot of people don't expect any defensive action from it, it catches them off guard. It can continually provide value when it has lots of "targets". I recommend it to all edh players.

Since your deck relies mainly on creatures to win, it makes no sense to me to have just 10, specially considering that 7 of your non creature spells ( Curious Obsession , Swashbuckling ) need a creature to work.
I would remove (sideboard maybe) Waterknot and Shock (or at least change the balance between it and Skewer the Critics and Lightning Strike ) and add some creatures in those 4-6 spaces… Wee Dragonauts is a very good option for it covers a week spot in your deck (Air), and gets buffed every time you use Instants or Sorceries (according to your listing, you would be running 14 -15 of those even after adjusting the creature number), adding to the aggressive nature of your deck. You could get a 7/3 or 3/3, flier bashing for you without too much effort.
Also, Negate seems to be there to shield your creatures. If it is so, you could replace some copies of it with Dive Down , which do the same shielding than Negate but also allow some defensive maneuvers letting your creatures to last longer and to help you against other fast aggressive decks, for less mana.
Hope it helps… keep up the good job!

The reasoning for keeping Singing Bell Strike and Waterknot are not because they tap a creature, but because that creature does NOT untap during it's controller's next untap step.

i would drop Waterknot for Spell Pierce . every deck has a non creature target, and creature heavy decks generally have a powerful target. Curious Obsession is the best. Boomerang is great for this deck too. i would drop the non merfolk cards for merfolk. that way you have the option to use Bident of Thassa and block.
