Tasigur's Zombie Servants

Khan of the Sultai Brood in the past

Tasigur, the Golden Fang is the young, pampered heir to the vast Sultai fortune. He is a hedonist who indulges in cruel pleasures and spares no thought for ruling his realm. He is only 15 or 16 years old and has been coddled, pampered and flattered, resulting in him being a cruel and unfeeling ruler. He's a pale, slender youth, often wearing elaborate jewelry and adornments - thin gold chains, gold rings, etc. - some of these adornments he pierces into his flesh.

His favorite weapon is a long whip that is tipped with small, silver razors which he uses on those who displease him or when he's bored and desires a bit of bloody playtime. He is usually carried about the Sultai palace on an ornate platform borne by zombies. Rarely are his feet allowed to touch the floor, rather zombies lay before him like an undead carpet as he walks along their bodies.

He especially enjoys tormenting enemies by sending their own undead kin against them.

Tasigur's Philosophy:

  • Tasigur's zombies are a means to an end, but have little significance to him on their own. I am trying to present that by using 2/2 zombie tokens.
  • Tasigur is a spoiled noble. With all the resources at his disposal, he will toss aside what he doesn't need in order to gain what he wants. Whether it's his zombies, his cards in hand, or his planeswalkers. Tasigur's alliances are self-serving and fleeting. Every planeswalker (except Liliana) is here to serve one purpose and be cast aside.

A bit about my playgroup: I play with a group at a local card shop. We have a very broad, dynamic houserule system setup to keep the games flowing without infinite combos or instant game-winning combos. Our games are dynamic and political (though some prefer not to think of it that way) but even so, everyone manages to bring quite powerful decks to the table. The sideboard is what our group calls a meanboard. It's the 15 cards that make the deck take the gloves off. Infinite combos and mean staxx effects are allowed here.
