This is my no-holds-barred, budget-be-damned ultimate Sliver apocalypse.

The plan is simple. Use Gemhide Sliver and Manaweft Sliver to turn your hive into a mana-machine, then use any of the mass land destruction to render everyone else impotent while you clobber them to death with increasingly massive Slivers. Sliver Overlord is not the best of their Legendary offerings (by a longshot), but its Sliver-Tutor ability makes it invaluable as a Commander.

Brood Sliver and Sliver Queen produce an army in no time, while Necrotic Sliver, Harmonic Sliver, Constricting Sliver and Hunter Sliver + Venom Sliver provide spot removal. Door of Destinies, Coat of Arms and Sliver Legion make your dudes massive, and Harsh Mercy let's you destroy most of your opponents' creatures for 3 mana.

Should be noted--Brood Sliver + Rite of Replication doesn't take long to become highly unmanageable.

Shifting Sliver , Galerider Sliver and Winged Sliver provide some needed evasion, while Virulent Sliver and Triumph of the Hordes offer a chance to pull quick wins with poison counters.

...besides that, Syphon Sliver and Essence Sliver are stackable life-generators to make up for all the life lost to Shock/Fetch lands. Bonescythe Sliver + Horned Sliver is just devastating, and Mnemonic Sliver and Synapse Sliver give you card draw opportunities.

Sliver Overlord + Unnatural Selection lets you steal mad creatures.

This deck has no counterspells-- Root Sliver and In the Eye of Chaos (anti-Force of Will from way back in the day) are your main counterkillers. Crystal Quarry and Channel the Suns give you some alternate and potentially cheaper ways to cast any of the several WUBRG spells in this deck. On that note, Maelstrom Nexus is a little out of place, but I've never built a deck that could use it before and holy shit does it do you right.

I originally put in Green Sun's Zenith thinking that it would make playing 5-color creatures easier, but this deck's ability to generate any color of mana on demand is just absurd. As such, the Zenith usually gets used to grab a Gemhide Sliver or Manaweft Sliver on turn 2 or 3, depending on whether or not you got a Sol Ring and/or Lotus Petal.
