There's a great weakness to Pariah decks and it's that it requires some massive mana cost cards to play, you have to deplete your opponents deck to win, and they're counterspell sensitive. Squirrel decks on the other hand get something at least on the board fast, they win by massive damage like normal, and you can destroy creatures all day long. The only problem with squirrels is that they're squishy in that you can bypass the creature to do damage directly to the player which pariah handles nicely. I also did a blue black see and destroy opponents hand, a white returner, and a saga tutor. I'm trying to limit to 60-110 cards.

I tested against the 2021 mono red stompy challenger deck and lost 3/3. It was my brother. I got Pariah up (2, 0, 1) and got to the 7th round. I had (5, 1, 4) lands and was mana screwed.

In March 2025 this decks power level was 7.07 of 10. It was 7.3 if I added only 2 cards I still need. When played versus MTG 2021 Challenger Deck Mono Red Aggro got to round 14 before losing.

In January 2026 this deck was 10.7 of 10. It's a casual legacy with 2 exemptions which I'm allowed and over count cards similarly at 130-150 as I try.

In August 2026 added whtz bibliophile and mystery booster. Dol Amroth is Cair Paravel is Abbey of Mont Saint Michel. This is now a mythic rare land deck as well. Reaches into bag of holding include in order urza's glasses, can is a bottle, post son of rich. Ippons include in order Phyrexian Metamorph, Tezzeret the Seeker, Skullclamp, Solemn Simulacrum, Satoru Umezawa. Armor includes prewar formal wear, spirit mantle. Combos include pariah, pariah's shield, stuffy doll, cho-manno revolutionary, warren soul trader, blood artist, chatterfang. I also switched from trilands to middle earth lands.
