Kolvori, God of Kinship

Legendary Creature — God

As long as you control three or more legendary creatures, Kolvori gets +4/+2 and has vigilance.

, : Look at the top six cards of our library. You may reveal a legendary creature card from among them and put it into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.

Baron_Pretzels okay. The reason I put some of the cards in is because it's not just the multicolour but I also wanted each solo colour to be represented by at least one creature and one spell:

CREATURE

White: Sisay, Weatherlight Captain, Odric, Lunarch Marshal

Blue: Esior, Wardwing Familiar

Black: Drana, Liberator of Malakir

Red: Kari Zev, Skyship Raider

Green: Sakura-Tribe Elder, Fallaji Wayfarer, Esika, God of the Tree  Flip, Kolvori, God of Kinship  Flip

SPELL

White: Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshares, Urza's Ruinous Blast

Blue: Negate

Black: Yawgmoth's Vile Offering

Red: Mana Cannons

Green: Beast Within, Kodama's Reach, Cultivate, Farseek, Nature's Lore

Another Blue creature I was thinking was Fblthp, the Lost

Reason I put The World Tree was probably cause I've put Esika in.

Not bad but I feel like you're not taking advantage of the legend aspect enough. Here are some Ideas for that: Day of Destiny,Arvad the Cursed,Heroes' Podium,Captain Sisay,Kamahl's Druidic Vow,Reki, the History of Kamigawa,Kolvori, God of Kinship  Flip,Dihada, Binder of Wills, and a few of the Legendary Sorceries (especially Kamahl's Druidic Vow).

Remember a while ago where I made Zaren, Silverback Ironfist? The Ape Berserker who revolved around the Fight mechanic? So I built a deck and he was way to powerful. Every single creature spell becoems removal. Even when I nerf him, dropping it from two +1/+1 counters when the creature survives down to just a single +1/+1 until end of turn, everything just decimates the boardstate. Dropping a Hornet Queen just wrecked a game I was playing in. Because he is a custom commander, I have the deck here on Tappedout and I have the browser tab open. My current boardstate (after winning the game) looks like this:

Oh, right. I also have 5x Forest in play, 4x Mountain, Gruul Signet, Mox Amber, Mana Crypt and Arcane Signet. Das a lotta mana, man!

  • It's my Turn 9.

Game ended with me at 24 life.

Took down The Ur-Dragon, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Maelstrom Wanderer.

Poor Ur-Dragon died twice to my fights; Once to Akroma, Angel of Fury after she triggered a second time since The Ur-Dragon is both white and blue, she couldn't deal damage back. So when Akroma dealt 6, she got +1/+1 until end of turn and I had her fight again with Hunt the Hunter, since The Ur-Dragon is green. Later, Hornet Queen made short work of it, again.

I think I vastly underestimated the power of the Fight mechanic, and now I understand why we do not have a Fight Commander. T-T

Challenge Dominance

Enchantment

At the beginning of combat on your turn, you and target opponent may each reveal cards from the top of your library until you both reveal a creature card. If you do, they enter the battlefield tapped and fight each other. Put the rest of the revealed cards on the bottom of their libraries in a random order. If one creature survives, it remains on the battlefield. If both creatures survive, their owners shuffle them back into their library.

DrSnipy this looks fun, God tribal is one of my favorite archetypes. You may get some ideas from my list, Gods Plan. I'm much heavier on board wipes than you are, I think it's a good way to clear what others are doing without affecting my own indestructible creatures. Also there are some other Gods you may want like Kolvori, God of Kinship  Flip (mostly for the flip side, pick "Druid" since all your gods are already legendary) and Esika, God of the Tree  Flip (also mostly for The Prismatic Bridge ).

Hello Zodia,

Blackblade Reforged reduces the equipment cost by {4} if you equip a legendary creature.

Arvad the Cursed a +2/+2 lord for all of your other legendary creatures - seems expensive but this is the only +2/+2 lord I have seen in pioneer.

Heroes' Podium acts as a Sliver Legion for all of your legendary creatures, meaning, if you have 4 creatures on the battlefield, all your creatures get +3/+3.

Kamahl's Druidic Vow it's the Collected Company for your deck, plus you get to put in the lands you find into the battlefield.

Mox Amber is a must include for legendary creature decks because you can use it to cast all of your creatures.

Tyrite Sanctum makes your gods indestrucable and can turn your legendary creatures into gods and then make them indestrucable.

Urza's Ruinous Blast is a one-sided board whipe because all your creatures are legendary.

Kolvori, God of Kinship  Flip is so good in your deck that you need three of them because this will increase your odds of drawing it in the early game and then tempo into other legendary creatures.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Philosopher

Sultai_Sir on How's Kaldheim Looking to You? …

In my humble opinion, Kaldheim is looking like an amazing set. We haven't gotten any broken things, but they all look fun. Let's go over some of the future commanders of our hearts! I'm skipping over commanders that use fortell, as we don't have many cards for them. Oh, and the cards that don't interest me. My post, my rules!

  • Halvar, God of Battle  Flip: While pretty good in Voltron decks, he makes for the first artifact commander we've ever had, and I know my Inner Johnny is tickled at that fact. The Equipment side is also super cool, with being able to pay 4 mana to resuscitate one of your creatures. With some Phyrexian Altar + Ashnod's Altar janks, we can make a fun mono-white combo deck! Oh, and Batterskull says hi.
  • Lathril, Blade of the Elves: I'm really psyched for this general. She looks like a way to make Golgari Elfball more viable, has a crazy, but not broken, activated ability, and is one of the only generals to make a usually too-competitive strategy fit for more casual tables. She has synergy up the wazoo with cards like Immaculate Magistrate and Timberwatch Elf. Oh, and one card that should be in every one of her decks, but is in zero so far, is Elder of Laurels. This card = broken in this deck, often turning your Lathril, Blade of the Elves into a four-digit power commander. Run it!
  • Sarulf, Realm Eater: Golgari Control is a thing, I guess? Stack your deck like card:Skullbrair, the Walking Grave does, but instead of going for the voltron combos, instead, you wipe your opponent's board every turn. Evolutionary Escalation is a must. Who cares about an 8/8 on your opponent's side when it's dead?
  • Vega, the Watcher: I'll say it: This is probably the most powerful uncommon commander ever printed. This triggers off of so many things: Elsha of the Infinite, Flahsback, Cascade, Retrace, Future Sight, Suspend, Adventure, Foretell, Impulse Draw, etc. Need I say more?
  • Jorn, God of Winter  Flip: ... Sigh. I know this is a fun card, but why is it sultai? Oh wait, it's generic value. EVen from a sultai-loving man as myself, this seems like overkill. Oh, you want me to talk about the commander? Stuff your deck full of snow lands. Attack. Repeat. Etc. So uninspiring.
