Pauper WARLORDS is a Casual Game Mode Extension for Mindscour's - Ultimate Pauper Singleton Draft 13E.

How-to-Play

Before or after the primary Pauper Cube Draft, Players will then draft an additional booster pack, [1] 15-card pack from LORDS (per player), of Uncommon cards to choose the following:

• [1] "Warlord" (Legendary Creature)

• [1] "Champion" (Non-Legendary Creature)

• [1] "Warlords Power" (Instant/Sorcery) or [1] "Warlords Blessing" (Enchantment) or [1] "Warlord Gift" (Artifact)

Their chosen [3] Warlord cards can be played from the WARLORD Zone at any point during the game.

These cards are set aside in a WARLORD Zone [Similar to a Command Zone] but Champions, Powers, Blessings, and Gifts do not return to the WARLORD Zone after they have been played, killed, destroyed, exiled, or countered during gameplay. So play them wisely.

However, Warlords can return with a +2 mana cost per additional summon from the WARLORD zone. (+2/+4/+6/etc.)

Design Goal: To bring some new power, pick options, gameplay variety, and excitement as an alternative gameplay option to my favorite (and self-created...) draft cube.
