Yedora, Grave Gardener

Yedora, Grave Gardener

Legendary Creature — Treefolk Druid

Whenever another nontoken creature you control dies (is put into the graveyard from the battlefield), you may return it to the battlefield face down under its owner's control. It's a Forest land. (It has no other types of abilities.)

Something like Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, Nissa, Worldwaker, Yedora, Grave Gardener or Vernal Bloom are cards that will help with ramp. Cryptic Gateway can use tokens to get the bigger bugs into play.

Scroll Rack can help stack your deck for your commander's ability.

As for what to take out that is a little harder and what I always struggle with.

Good luck with adding and taking.

Looking good, you've build a fine deck. There's an Archelos list on my profile in case you're interested. I lately included a recursion package in Yedora, Grave Gardener and Scryb Ranger.

For leave the battlefield effect like Yedora, Grave Gardener 's you look at how the permanent existed while it was last on the battlefield. It will not normally trigger for the creatures brought back as lands, but can trigger for things that are temporarily creatures like Treetop Village and Chimeric Staff .

So, Yedora, Grave Gardener can bring a creature who dies in the form of a land, my question relates to WHEN he sees it as a creature that dies, is it before it actually hits the graveyard or after? Specifically I'm looking at something like Elvish Reclaimer sacrificing a facedown creature that's a "Land - Forest", once that land is in the graveyard, it's no longer a land, it is a creature again. Would Yedora grab it back and bring him back out as a land?

Greater Good and Nim Deathmantle works pretty well.

Find a way to get it into your hand, and use Scroll of Fate or Illusionary Mask , then use equipments and/or auras.

Yedora, Grave Gardener and any way to turn lands into creatures, then use Tawnos's Coffin .
