Hamza, Guardian of Arashin Discussion

DareiJuxis Thanks you for your recommendations.

A few cards were just for the flavor for me and in the end they won several games like Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Along with counters for Kyler, Nils, Discipline Enforcer is a good defense against a friend's Hamza, Guardian of Arashin. And The First Iroan Games was not pulled at this point since i took the card on the Deck.

I will definitely test Reverent Hoplite instead of Increasing Devotion.

I personally think Wild Beastmaster is too slow. the card puts the archenemy in my face without really doing anything in the turn. maybe with Concordant Crossroads when the secret lair is published.

I just don't like Thalia's Lieutenant. I'm also not a fan of the fact that 95% of Kyler, Sigardian Emissary decks just look and play the same. That's why I don't take some cards in for personal reasons as well as for playful reasons.

I'm also at the point in the deck where it's incredibly difficult for me to part with individual cards because they've either done a good job or I like the flavor so much. If you have any suggestions for Eternal Witness or Hopeful Initiate, I'll be happy to take note of them and think about them.

Cryptolith Rite, Nature's Will, Druids' Repository, and [Bear Umbra] will give repeatable combats. Nature's Will is a bit expensive, so keep Song of Freyalise instead. You can remove Battle for Bretagard, Goblin War Drums, and Mask of Avacyn to use the other three enchantments if repeatable combats is your goal. Otherwise, here are some other great additions:

Cathars' Crusade will make HUGE creatures very quickly. Brave the Sands gives the vigilance needed to take advantage of Cryptolith Rite or have blockers. Impact Tremors will cause lots of pain over time. Raiders' Spoils card draw on steroids. Something you are SORELY lacking.

Kaya, Geist Hunter a great addition that will mostly be used for her -2 ability. Rhythm of the Wild is a good card to be replaced since most of your creatures will be tokens, anyways. If you don't go with Kaya, Cathars' Crusade would probably be a better replacement for Rhythm of the Wild.

Trollbred Guardian and Hamza, Guardian of Arashin requires +1/+1 counters but you don't have very many +1/+1 counters in the deck to take advantage of this. You can remove them and instead use Mindblade Render and Oakhame Adversary for card draw. You need card draw.

Replace Mardu Shadowspear with Brutal Hordechief

Usher of the Fallen and Imperious Perfect are fairly underwhelming. Imperious Perfect is a little better, but I'd at least replace Usher of the Fallen with Rhys the Redeemed. Honestly, I'd use Ogre Battledriver over Imperious Perfect.

Rubblebelt Raiders is nice, but Champion of Lambholt will make your creatures unlockable just as fast.

Tuya Bearclaw and Hamletback Goliath get big, but they can be chumped VERY easily. Lovisa Coldeyes will buff all your tokens that are harder to chump. You could maybe keep the Hamletback Giant, but Zurgo Helmsmasher or Samut, Voice of Dissent is a good choice in your deck if you decide not to.

Blaring Captain and Blaring Recruiter are also very underwhelming. Chief of the Edge can easily replace the captain, and the recruit can be replaced be literally anything (my vote would be for Impact Tremors if you haven't added it already).

You have A LOT of mana ramp in your deck, but your lacking card draw and removal. I'd maybe remove the Diamonds and add two or three mana rocks that tap for one of any color. That'll give your deck 10-11 forms of mana ramp. If you add three, that'll give room for two forms of card draw. Reconnaissance Mission, Bident of Thassa, Skullclamp, and Vanquisher's Banner are great options.

Instead of Fracture, I recommend Despark. Mortify is a better Murder but can also be upgraded by switching to Utter End.

Replace Warped Landscape with Secluded Courtyard.

Be aware that you're sitting at only 30 lands. If you find your have a mana-base problem, I'd take out Radha, Heir to Keld, Duskwatch Recruiter  Flip, or ANY of the previously discussed cards and add 3-5 lands. Out of the lands you should also add, I recommend Savage Lands, Arcane Sanctum, Crumbling Necropolis, Jungle Shrine, Nomad Outpost, Mystic Monastery, Path of Ancestry, and Unclaimed Territory.

Since Mikaeus, the Lunarch is only white, you wouldn't be able to include green cards if he is the commander. Maybe Hamza, Guardian of Arashin would make a good commander for your deck?

I'm bad at card substitutions, so I'm going to toss a bunch of card suggestions at you and wish you good luck.
Gavony Township is a neat land that puts +1/+1 counters that your deck might like.
Hopeful Initiate lets you turn +1/+1 counters into removal, I dumped one into my Mikaeus, the Lunarch deck and I have high hopes for it. Same for Sigarda's Summons(but for different reasons).
Champion of Lambholt is super cool if you can get enough +1/+1 counters on her. Less blockers? Yes please.
Hamza, Guardian of Arashin seems pretty cool. Kind of like a GW Animar, Soul of Elements. I don't know if your deck has enough of a creature focus to make Hamza a good pay-off for you, but in theory it could be good.
Archangel of Thune does something very similar to your commander, but the price tag (~$21 USD) is a bit much. (and it goes infinite with Scurry Oak or Herd Baloth and an ETB lifegain card) It could be very strong in your deck.
Felidar Retreat is a lot like Retreat to Kazandu but it gives counters to everyone. Yeah, it's not the best for triggering Trelasarra's ability (unless you have an ETB lifegain out) but it could still be a viable option for your deck.
Devoted Druid is super cool in +1/+1 counter decks if you can feed it counters to cancel out the -1/-1 counters you're going to be putting on it.

Would totally run this in a Hamza, Guardian of Arashin deck.

I think I would more or less do the same with the commanders you have laid out so I don't have much to offer there. Instead here are some deck ideas I have planned/currently working on:

Might I recommend the following cards? Hamza, Guardian of Arashin, Mindless Automaton, Juniper Order Ranger, Iridescent Hornbeetle, Ridgescale Tusker, and Fertilid. Here are some cheaper rares that would make good additions if you desire! Felidar Retreat, Cathars' Crusade, and Gyre Sage
