- Preventing Damage:

- Redirecting damage with Deflecting Palm cards

combo - I've also gotten Marit Lage out with Marit Lage's Slumber
- Search for Glory can tutor for Dark Depths or Marit Lage's Slumber
- Into the North can tutor for Dark Depths
- Insurrection:

- I've done Boldwyr Heavyweights followed by Insurrection to finish off a game before.
- Big mana finishers:
Having Furnace of Rath and/or Dictate of the Twin Gods out applies the pressure and intensifies the damage.
I also considered running Fiery Emancipation. The only reason I cut it was because it only affects my spells and I want my opponents to take advantage of the double damage.
