I haven't updated the bullet points or in general paid the due upkeep on the deck's description for a very long time, so as of 10/12/2018, I've removed the Primer tag.

Marath is still my go-to deck, despite my stepping back from my involvement in Magic and my local community. No matter how much I wanted to just get rid of everything, too many good people I know still play, and I'm not yet ready to part with my baby, nor this game as a whole.

Please continue to leave your feedback for this deck, as it's very important to me. I'm currently in a phase where I'm experimenting with new cards and lines of play, so please let me know what you think!

Okay, this is a lot. A lot y'all probably weren't expecting.

I'm very bored with Marath. The last change did anything but add depth and flavor to the deck, and I've grown tired of the lines of play. I wanted something a little more proactive.

So I'm shifting gears. I'm putting the Equipment package away and shifting to a token theme for the time being. Divine Visitation and March of the Multitudes were two cards I simply could not ignore. Marath spits out Serra Angels? Sign me up!

That got me thinking of other token-producing effects I'd like to run. Avenger was a no-no for me for years, but I think of the line with Visitation and spitting out an Angel for each land I have, and then I think of Eldrazi Displacer...

Speaking of, I found out that Displacer was quickly becoming Marath's best card, and decided I needed to add a second one. The biggest issue I had with the card was that people realized how good it was and started killing it on sight. The fact that it couldn't blink itself was becoming an issue, so adding another one that could blink it means I can set up a loop if redundancy becomes an issue. With Seedborn Muse added to the mix, I could even resort to trapping creatures.

Aside from that, most of the adds are token-centric. I needed a second board wipe, so Hour of Reckoning it became, and when you add some good token-producers, Huatli coming back just makes sense.

Then there's Knight of Autumn. Reclamation Sage was already incredible, so making a better one is something I openly welcome.
