Giant Spectacle Discussion

stormhammer16 The problem with Built to Smash in this kind of deck is that you are primarily using the Ravenous Intruder for your damage, and since it isn't an artifact creature it doesn't get the trample from Built to Smash which means that the Giant Spectacle is better overall I think.

I like the Kessig Prowler  Flip+Giant Spectacle combo, but the aggro approach doesn't seem to fit with landkill. I'd focus the deck so that you start destroying your opponent's land on turn 3 every game and keep doing it until they can't do anything - then you can finish them off. To do that I'd swap out some of your aggressive cards like Lathnu Hellion for extra mana dorks like Druid of the Cowl. An extra World Breaker wouldn't hurt either, if you have access to it along with a way of sacing it so you can keep bringing it back.

if you want more evasion then Giant Spectacle is something to consider, as it is also a boost spell/aura.

Maybe a Giant Spectacle or Deranged Whelp? You're missing menace :)

Pretty cool.

Really cool when you flip the Kessig Prowler  Flip, and then drop Giant Spectacle onto him. Then it looks like he becomes unblockable...Sinuous Predator  Flip can't be blocked by more than one creature, and Giant Spectacle gives him menace, so he can't be blocked by less than two creatures. Nice, great beats there.

I'm not sure about the Confront the Unknown, I know it works with the Tracker, but it seems like you would be better off with getting more land drops to pump the tracker permanently, or energy. Blossoming Defense on a flipped, enchanted prowler is nasty.

i have a land destruction deck, that struggled a LOT... 2 cards made the fucking difference!Kessig Prowler  Flip and Giant Spectacle ! .If you manage to spit these 2 out, you will do MAJOR damage. PLUS, later game, if you transform the prowler, it is a fucking unblockable creature XD .Copy the deck and try it out, to see if this works for you :P

Wish you the best on the upcoming tournaments !

You really can't reason like that with Sin Prodder. You are just as likely to hit a Haunted Cloak that is hiding a Lone Rider  Flip that you need underneath as you are to lose the rider. You can't get upset over milled cards, especially if said mill comes along with free damage to an opponent. you have to think of them as cards that were buried so deep in your deck you wouldn't have gotten to them anyways. Either way he gets you extra cards or extra damage, and even if he were just a stat ball with menace, I'd still reccomend him over Giant Spectacle, they kill one creature and you've 2 for 1'ed yourself.

I like the deck modifications you have done to try and recapture some of the more expensive($) cards.

I always liked the idea of running Nahiri's Machinations. If you find the card is not aggressive enough, you can try to use Blood Mist as another option to spread double strike around.

I really like the idea of Giant Spectacle as menace is an ability type most people struggle to find a way to handle. I am only worried about the use of this card vs control decks.

Would strongly suggest leaving Tears of Valakut in the side as it is a strong card vs the popular white blue control decks and is also good for picking off every ones favorite vehicle Smuggler's Copter. The fact it cant be countered is extremely useful, but beware it still can be Spell Quellered.

Stone Quarry needs to become Needle Spires when you can afford them. The ability to have the man land has won me many games because my opponent forgot I had them or the ability to share with Odric. The extra one I would pull out for another basic.

Best of luck with your version of the deck. I hope to hear good news on how it played out.
