oliveoilonyaasscureshemorrhoid Deckling

Commander fanatic since 2011. I prefer this format because cards from almost all sets are legal and lasts arguably longer than other formats. I fell in love with the Sultai early on; between the colors involved, lore, and my personal play style, it fits me perfectly. However, the moment I saw Sidisi, Brood Tyrant was love at first sight. After I tore apart my three necromancer decks (Jarad, Sultai Schemers, Phenax) and added the freggin necronomicon to make my new Sidisi deck, I was profoundly happy and still talk of it today. Anyway, check out these useful resources.

I like the Secrets of the Dead, also Nihil Spellbomb and a lot of your enchantments. I've had experience with Primal Surge and basically it sucks, I'd recommend Genesis Wave as it also mills, or some praetor as a finisher. Hope this helps

Awesome deck! +1 for Dawn Charm and Forsake the Worldly.

To make it stronger, consider a hidden gem in UW: Energy Arc! So good. First and foremost, it fogs. It also untaps any number of creatures, so it pairs well with Dismiss into Dream/Willbreaker, can uptap your glorious 5 toughness Sidar Kondo and others for further combat steps, and be political. Have an Arcanis player? Boom, draw three my friend. Have an elfball player? Here's some mana, sir. Have a Derevi player? None for you, you've had enough untapping. It can also help with an alpha swing, as you can save the blocked while ensuring damage. Besides saving your underdog allies, you could also help the dominant player who alpha swing'd you if he has something you want or just to show you are also capable of mercy. Energy Arc is either broken, or I have too much sentiment for it.

Also, I thought I should mention my similar deck, my phelddagrif group hug, to mention another strategy. I built this turbo fog deck to be political, combo-stopping to ensure a healthy game, have tons of ramp/draw for everyone! All the upkeep draw also syngergizes with my secret plan of Approach of the Second Sun, but there's only one wincon because I don't play to win with this deck. Any suggestions for this deck?

Anyway, here's a cool picture of phelddagrif :)

I was also curious about Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive. I haven't tested it in this deck yet, but I don't think it fits well enough in this deck. It doesn't provide Edric with evasion, and most other creatures wouldn't be in the deck without evasion. I'd rather not invest 2 mana (a rare blue mana with Gaea's Cradle/Priest of Titania on the field) and save the mana for an extra turn, or for a counterspell to push through that extra turn, or for the second main phase after Edric refreshed my hand and gives more strategies. However, it does provide the best type of evasion for most of the deck.

I'm also curious about Mox Amber in this deck, as Edric is so important to this deck so there's always use, but won't help casting Edric or a counterspell for Edric (besides Baral). What's your thoughts on the new mox and Tetsuko?
