Your name is officially misleading, 864 damage turn 4 is filthy, but certainly not casual :)
Congrats on the wins!

Hey! I gave your deck a few tries with a couple of friends. Pact was horrifically telling of my next move and almost always resulted in a loss. I saw that you changed that though, which is definitely a good idea. I tried it with Chord too, and even then it was hit or miss if I could create the infinite combo. However, it still did well with chord without that infinite combo. I played living end, lost to it 3 times out 3 plays, but each one was so close it came down to the wire. What often got me was my buddy's sideboard of Shriekmaw. He had an idea before we started of what I was trying to do and main-boarded all 3. They single handedly stopped the combos and really slowed down the deck long enough for him to get out a cascade and gain the upper hand. I didn't try chord here though, and that may have really made a difference. Next, I played the same guy but he ran his Affinity deck. I won 1 out of 3 games and almost always lost to an Inkmoth Nexus with Cranial Plating. Again, I stuck with pact here. The next playthrough was against a Tier 1 Boros burn deck that splashed black. I won 2 out of 3 games but i had switched out pact with Chord here. The deck worked a lot more efficiently and I was able to combo stomp him. Next, I had a friend play my lords based Elf strategy against this deck, it was a slaughter. Your deck won all 3 matches pretty easily because of the lack of removal. The last game I played was against a Death's shadow Grixis deck, I only played one game here and lost... bad. I'm looking forward to trying it out against Tron and other meta decks sometime soon, but all of these have been recreational table top matches so far because I have been playing a Temur deck lately at FNM. So far though, I think the deck is really good! It is missing a protection spell, like Vines of Vastwood, in my opinion. I think that should definitely be sideboarded for heavy removal matchups because they really had a win advantage over the deck. Maybe add 3 to the sideboard, then if you have to add them in swap out one Ezuri, one chord, and one dork.

Welcome to Modern! And though I'm no Elf expert (unless getting pummeled by them almost every time counts!), I'm happy to take a look!

Thanks for the comment, I made some of the changes you suggested and I've elaborated on the deck's thread.

Well my first combo deck was necro and Platinum Angel. Then I said screw it and cut the Angel.

Definitely not me, I don't have MTGO ;P
Thanks for the upvote!

I would build it in a Bant Merfolk shell as a random I-probably-win button, if at all.

It's a SORT-OF low CMC three card combo where none of the cards are good on their own that doesn't come online until turn 5 at the earliest.

Also, honorable mention to cats for this being the internet

Eldrazi, Elves, Merfolk, Goblins, Slivers would be my rankings. But we're getting off topic.

Enchanted Creature gains defender and "This creature cannot block"

Maybe the dinos hunted and killed them all.
September 9, 2017 11:21 a.m.
Yeah, so far Merfolk don't seem great. I agree tht dinos will be good, then vamps, then pirates. To be fair though, merfolk are probably the 3rd most powerful tribe ever (behind eldrazi and elves) so maybe it's time for them to not be as good.

People upvote your decks, but stop giving you suggestions.
I wish the bears left.

I wish the protesters would go away.

You may reveal Anticipatory Aggression from your open hand, if you do and the first spell you cast is a creature spell that creature gains deathtouch.
September 6, 2017 7:21 a.m.
It's kind of awkward because you're trying to have Collected Company and Thing in the Ice Flip, I would switch Vexing Devil and Collected Company to Rift Bolt and probably Sleight of Hand or Faithless Looting

Dream (You may only play cards with Dream during an opponents upkeep. At the beginning of your upkeep, return all cards with Dream that you control to it's owners hand.)
When ~ enters the battlefield, create a 1/2 green spider token with reach for each dream you control.

I would recommend another payoff for . Maybe Nissa, Steward of Elements?
September 5, 2017 9:29 p.m.
Yeah, I prefer elves, which also fits my playstyle better. Thanks for the upvote!
