Primary Commander: Korvold, Fae-Cursed King

Alternate Commander(s): Prossh, Skyraider of Kher

Major Theme(s): Sacrifice

Subtheme(s): Creature tokens

Primary Win Condition: Make Korvold huge as you sacrifice the deck’s many creature tokens and fly in for commander damage, or take advantage of his power with cards like Mage Slayer or Kazuul's Fury

Backup Win Condition: Go wide with creature tokens, then overrun your opponents with cards like Overwhelming Stampede or Pathbreaker Ibex

Infinite Combos: None

Non-land Tutors: None

The deck contains a variety of ways to generate a ton of tokens and sacrifice them, allowing you to easily and quickly pump Korvold, Fae-Cursed King and trigger his ability to draw a bunch of cards. Keep replaying sacrifice targets such as Endless Cockroaches, Reassembling Skeleton, and Squee, the Immortal. Or generate huge amounts of sacrifice fodder through Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder, Scute Swarm, and various Eldrazi Spawn generators such as Emrakul's Hatcher. Then sacrifice your creatures on demand through cards such as Viscera Seer, Fallen Angel, and Goblin Bombardment.

Once Korvold becomes huge, use cards such as Fling and Mage Slayer to deal damage around opposing blockers. Or use finishing cards such as Overwhelming Stampede and Pathbreaker Ibex to make your remaining token creatures as big as Korvold himself and give your entire army trample.

Korvold, Fae-Cursed King
Ruler of the lands
A noble dragon that brings
All minions to his command

With modules and artifacts
And eldrazi spawns galore
He turns creatures into crafts
And the battlefield is his store

Bone Splinters from a Blasphemous Act
Remnants of a Corrupted Conviction
He trades Blood for Bones with a Grave Pact
And orates with a mighty diction

Though he has obelisks and towers
And a Reassembling Skeleton
He truly shows off his powers
With his Moldervine Reclamation

Thus ends my ode to Korvold the King
A majestic though selfish one
Compared to Ormendahl, Profane Prince
He is truthfully quite fun

I am a casual, budget player and my goal is to always keep my commander decks within $100 or close to it. This deck exceeds my budget on paper only because I already own all of the most expensive cards including Grave Pact, Ophiomancer, and Pathbreaker Ibex (all of which I obtained years ago for far less than the current prices). Any suggestions to improve the deck while still keeping it within the existing budget are appreciated!
