Exquisite Huntmaster

Creature — Elf Warrior

When this dies (is put into the graveyard from the battlefield), create a 1/1 green Elf Warrior creature token.

Encore [[symbol:4] (, exile this card from your graveyard: For each opponent, create a token copy that attacks that opponent this turn if able. They gain haste. Sacrifice them at the beginning of the next end step. Activate this ability only as a sorcery.)

@ HatchMichael18 Thanks for your comment. those are good suggestions but unfortunately Mindcrank and Mimic Vat are not Pauper legal

Tortured Existence is already in the list ;)

@ LightEntropy Thank you! Fleshbag Marauder and Exquisite Huntmaster passed the try-outs successfully and are now on the team! :) Regenerate isn't quiet what i want my creatures to do since i am usually happy to put them in my graveyard. The regenerate ability doesn't synergize very well with syr konrad's ability

LightEntropy None of the cards you suggested are actually visible. I'm guessing they're supposed to be something like Commander's Sphere for the draw engine/mana rock, Exquisite Huntmaster for the Encore card, and the rest I can't get from context.

Dazard The card Diregraf Horde is a potential Lava Axe around the table when paired with a sacrifice outlet. If you cast the Horde, exile two cards from your graveyard, and sacrifice the Horde and its tokens (or just attack), each opponent loses five life. Then you bring it back and do it again. I would also suggest some instant-speed reanimator cards like Undying Evil, Undying Malice, Feign Death, or Supernatural Stamina, to go through all the 1-mana options.

I like how the guy above this comment just casually strolls in and tells you to put in a bunch of moxen...

That said, warriors is one of my favorite tribes and I've made a ton of decks with them! Plus Najeela is such a badass commander! These are my suggestions that you haven't included and could serve as some better synergy with your deck than your non-warriors:

  • God-Eternal Oketra make huge 4/4 zombie warrior tokens on every warrior cast.

  • Oketra the True make warrior tokens and acts as a big beater itself.
  • Oketra's Monument tons and tons of warrior tokens.
  • Rush of Battle warrior themed overrun that gains you tons of life.
  • Herald of Anafenza gets bigger and makes warrior tokens at the same time.
  • Raiders' Spoils probably the best card draw you'll see for warrior tribal.
  • Gilt-Leaf Ambush elf warrior tokens with sometimes deathtouch.
  • Hunting Triad elf warrior tokens or modal +1/+1 counters.
  • Presence of Gond give a creature a tap for elf warrior token ability.
  • Lovisa Coldeyes more warrior lord buffs!
  • Obsidian Battle-Axe haste and auto-attach to warriors equipment!
  • Regna, the Redeemer and Krav, the Unredeemed act as a sac outlet and warrior token generation combo.
  • Lord Windgrace deck filtering, color fixing, and generation of a ton of cat warrior tokens
  • Great Hall of Starnheim gets you a 4/4 angel warrior token in a pinch
  • Base Camp cheap 5 color land for warriors
  • Starnheim Unleashed make a ton of 4/4 angel warrior tokens!
  • Emeria's Call  Flip make angel warrior tokens and give your non-angel warriors indestructible or make it a land
  • Ascent of the Worthy pretty fun tricks on this.
  • Firja's Retribution make a 4/4 angel warrior token and give angels destroy and double strike.
  • Battle for Bretagard make warrior tokens, then make copies.

I've been trying to find the right balance in my Lathril build as well.

Cards I think are cuttable here: Just Beaters - You are looking to flood the board with elves and pump up Lathril to make more elves. Traditional beater type creatures don't do much for you here so you can probably lose cards like Heedless One , Abomination of Llanowar and Elvish Vanguard . These cards don't do anything for you other than get big and swing which is counter productive to you strat.

Big Mana Producers - You want to flood the board early and elves in general don't have high CMC so you can probably lose some of the higher cmc mana dorks like Wirewood Channeler , Selvala, Heart of the Wilds , Joraga Treespeaker and Incubation Druid .

Other - Unless you plan on a lifegain subtheme you can cut Nissa Revane . I can't run Coat of Arms in my group because there are a lot of other tribal decks that also benefit from it. Higher mana elves like Eyeblight Cullers and Exquisite Huntmaster and Nath of the Gilt-Leaf are all cards I would consider cutting to bring down the average CMC.

Obviously just my opinions, I don't know if you have pet cards or what your plaugroup looks like just thought I could share my line of thinking!

Daedalus19876 I was wondering what you thought of some of the new cards from Commander Legends. We got a good number of things to mess around with, and I'm also super excited to play with Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools and Szat's Will in the deck. Szat let's you +2 to effectively draw 2 with Yawgmoth out, or +1 to draw 2 anyway, so it seems super good. Plus, it's another sac outlet, and his ultimate is potentially reachable with Yawgmoth's proliferate!

It also took me a while to realize that Szat's Will is an instant; I thought it was a sorcery for some reason, but it being an instant makes it much better and useful since you will likely be able to use it as both removal and token generation (which around mid-game when this card would likely be cast, could net you around 4+ tokens). Also... instant mass Bojuka Bog lmao.

Perhaps you could try cutting Black Market for the planeswalker, at least. I don't really like upkeep effects like that anymore, but I can see why you'd use it since it's potentially a shit ton of mana.

Other cards that caught my eye were Exquisite Huntmaster and Opposition Agent. I cut my copy of Rite of Belzenlok for Huntmaster since it can give you more mileage, a max total of 8 creatures to sacrifice (provided you still have 3 opponents). Opposition Agent is also... stupidly good, so I decided to swap it in as a replacement for Liliana's Standard Bearer since drawing isn't really hard at all in the deck.
