If there were specific cards you were trying to dig to (lock pieces, a combo, selection for removal/counters/whatever) I could get behind more draw - but all that Potion really reads as is "Discard this card and draw another one for 3 mana: gain 3 life" in this deck. Without a way to bounce it, or a way to use the lifegain, it's not actually doing anything to get you real value or advance your plan.

Shelter , Judge Unworthy (very on-flavor), or old faithful Bonder's Ornament could fit the same role a little better, potentially. Either that, or find a good way to put the extra life to use in your game plan, IMO.

joelwong81 - like, I'm not opposed to running land ramp just I'm so use to running rocks. Granted, the rocks for pedh aren't as efficent and I don't have my trusty Isochron Scepter but things like Bonder's Ornament and Mind Stone add a bit more utility.

In my experience pEDH players dont just blow up mana ramp. They save the removal for things that can kill them. Things like Whispersilk Cloak or in this decks case the cards to save for artifact or enchantment removal for are Ashnod's Altar , Pestilence , Bonder's Ornament , Presence of Gond , and Tortured Existence . RNR_Gaming did I miss any?

I love this list - been working on my own pauper jund, as well.

With Bonder's Ornament seeing more play, I like maindecking 1-2 Abrade , as it's still relevant in nearly every matchup, even without opposing artifacts.

I do still think Lightning Bolt is worth it, as well; Skred is obviously solid, but being able to go face at the right moment can really make a difference.

Lastly, one of my pet cards is Evolution Charm . Super relevant in tri-color graveyard decks!

Hey BOXES_O_MOXES thanks so much for the great suggestions!

I will definitely be making room for Scaretiller . It would be great to live the dream and get an engine going with Barren Moor , too! It certainly fits the bill as a great creature for Shirei. I think I'll cut Skittering Surveyor for it.

Witch's Cottage is an easy include in this deck. Honestly I haven't updated in over a year until this morning to add Village Rites , so some of of your suggestions of recent cards are just cards I haven't gotten the chance to switch into yet.

Bonder's Ornament should definitely be in here. I think I'll cut Culling the Weak for it.

Very nice build. I also run a Shirei edh. Have had it together for a while and have not updated it in a bit. Or posted it to Tapped Out yet. I have too many mono black edh decks and others tend to get more attention. Shirei is super strong. The only things I'd like to see are below.

-Scaretiller could be an MVP in your deck. He's super good ramp, has a big butt and comes back with Shirei. Some good tech is to hook up your cloak to this guy too if Shirei is still on the sideline for some reason. He's able to tap every turn and not die to being targeted or blocked.

-Witch's Cottage. I feel that this could help if Shirei wasn't online and you had to go fishing.

-Bonder's Ornament should be in here. You lack in card draw and the Ornament helps with both ramp and draw.

-More rocks like Commander's Sphere and Mind Stone could help if you need to build mana to recast Shirei over and over again and also help draw you cards later in the game if need be.

Just my 2cents. I'm sure you have spent quite a bit of time tuning. It never hurts to get some outside eyeballs on a deck and a little bit of suggestion.

griffstick- I do like the idea of Blight Sickle. I'll see what I can cut. I'll have to think about Seer's Lantern. As I'm mono-white I can't scoff at any card selection but its also a 3 cmc rock that I can pay 2 to scry which feels super bad.

SirQuixano- Thank you for the many suggestions. Pacifism is a strong maybe, I don't like the idea of only getting rid of an attacker/blocker. A lot of the time I want to get rid of a creature because of a passive or activated ability. But getting rid of an annoying blocker is also something this deck wants to do.

I am good on ramp for the most part. I already have Mind Stone and Everflowing Chalice is too slow. Most of the time I would play it with 1 counter because next turn I want to play Danitha Capashen, Paragon and the turn after play and equip many equipments, and there Arcane Signet is just better. The only rocks I have are ones that I can cash in for a card later in the game when I don't need the mana. Orazca Relic, Bonder's Ornament, and Magnifying Glass are therefor viable but their draw is all very expensive. I think ill add Bonder's Ornament because it is a repeated draw and also creates colored mana. Magnifying Glass is 6 mana to draw a card and only creates colorless mana. Orazca Relic is interesting but is cmc 3 and is only 1 time draw with cities blessing and only creates colorless mana.

As for the fetches, first off, things like Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse would be better but I also really dont want the slow mana. I had Scaretiller in at one point but by the time I had cast it and it started to ramp me I did not need the ramp anymore. Radiant Fountain is probably not necessary because my commander has liflink so my life total is not much of a problem. I was considering Quicksand while building the deck and am on the fence about it.

For removal, how about cards like Pacifism. I see you have Journey to nowhere, which is definitely better, but to shut down another creature from combat is quite useful, and devastating against certain voltron decks. It wont stop combo commanders, but is still nice to have.

For a deck with so much equipment, you might need a bit more ramp. Everflowing Chalice, Mind Stone, Orazca Relic, Bonder's Ornament, and Magnifying Glass can help you get the mana when you need it then you can ditch or use them for the card draw when you need it lategame.

Monocolored Utility lands may also be nice in some areas, since you aren't playing anything close to devotion, and in monocolored, colorless lands hurt you by a generally negligible amount. Cards like Radiant Fountain, Quicksand, Forge of Heroes, Cave of Temptation, and Haunted Fengraf are nice utility. You may also want to add the Panoramas that grab plains (Bant Panorama, Esper Panorama, and Naya Panorama + Warped Landscape) since you can landramp with them if you get a Scaretiller in play, and if you don't get him, they don't really affect you otherwise.
