Siona, Captain of the Pyleas is a great commander for a Voltron style strategy, using auras instead of equipment. Siona has the advantage of generating 1/1 soldiers which can protect her from sacrifice effects and can be useful to chump-block. This deck's main theme is Voltron, hence there are no extra ways to abuse the tokens with cards like Blasting Station, Altar of the Brood, Altar of Dementia and Phyrexian Altar, I own all the cards mentioned, but they didn’t make it in the 99. The prior mentioned cards rely heavily on Shielded by Faith. I wanted Siona to shine and this build does the job well. If a combo heavy build is your thing, then be my guest to include them in your own build.

Okay, let’s get into Siona, Captain of the Pyleas abilities a bit further.

{1}.When Siona, Captain of the Pyleas enters the battlefield, look at the top seven cards of your library. You may reveal an Aura card from among them and put it into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. This is a great ETB with a pseudo tutor effect, dig seven deep to find an aura.

{2}. Whenever an Aura you control becomes attached to a creature you control, create a 1/1 white Human Soldier creature token. Generating 1/1 white soldier tokens for every aura put on Siona and other creatures you control is awesome. Goes infinite with Shielded by Faith.

**Pro-tip**: Flickerform activation is a great way to trigger Siona's ETB again to find more aura cards, but it also grants you extra tokens, because once Siona is on the battlefield, the auras come into play attached to Siona, and each aura will trigger separately. Activate it after the combat phase. It also provides good protection, flickering Siona in response to a wrath-type effect.
