Maybeboard

The Guile: This deck is designed to control the opposition by fancy unsummoning tricks and powerful mind control long enough to mill them out.

The Fangs: But don't think this deck can't bite! The mill goes hand in hand with direct damage, from big unblockable creatures, hordes of tokens, or directly in response to mill.

This deck should prove to be responsive, fast, and effective at moving toward multiple wincons (either mill or lifeloss or even unblockable commander damage)

Effects to watch for:

  • Most of the unsummon effects are repeatable, as are the mind control effects, always keeping blockers up and the board clear of threats

  • Mesmeric Orb mills each player for every permanent tapped, EVEN LANDS! This little artifact pays for it'self FAST.

  • One fun synergy in this deck is Thousand-Year Elixir - It not only allows the user to tap creatures using Phenax, God of Deception's abilities on the turn they are played, after blocking, but it also allows Jace's Archivist, Callous Oppressor, and Beguiler of Wills to get to work faster than most decks can deal with them.

  • Nevinyrral's Disk is surprisingly a powerful card in a deck that desires full graveyards and has an indestructible commander.

Duskmantle Guildmage's ability + Mindcrank + 1 point of damage OR a single card milled = Combo to mill out/death

Pemmin's Aura + anything with an active ability = ABUSE
