Latest Tasigur build to combat some meta choices. Compact combo wins combined with the ability to generate mid to late game value through recursion. Slamming a combo turn 3 keeps control decks honest leaves them unable to keep up with the recursion engine that is Tasigur, the Golden Fang and Seedborn Muse in the late game. Free counters and removal early game to stop the other combos or to waste control resources, with good ol' Counterspell to use with our 4 untaps per turn cycle.

We have our suite of 6 basics to combat Blood Moon, Back to Basics, and Ruination, as well as to preserve life if we are trying to go for a big Ad Nauseam.

Typical hate pieces in the forms of Planeswalkers (no search and no extra draws) and Grafdigger's Cage. Tasigur protects the walkers and gets around the Cage.

If all else fails, just attack with Tasigur. If this is what the game has devolved into, counter spells and infinite/ instant conditions have been dealt with. Commanders should be taxed too high for them to be useful. Tasigur comes in for 1 mana and is fulled by Loam.

Payoffs

Play Tasigur, mill your entire library returning all spells to your hand.

Assassin's Trophy loop to destroy all permanents on board. Move to second main clearing floating mana.

Life from the Loam the Forbidden Orchard and play it. Use Exploration for an extra land drop if needed (if you REALLY have no land drop, Noxious Revival the Forbidden Orchard and Crop Rotation it into play). Play Seedborn Muse. Pass. Untap with them. On each player's upkeep create infinite mana, give them a spirit with Forbidden Orchard, and start a Reality Shift loop exiling their library (Reality Shift the spirit then Reality Shift the manifests). They should have no permanents at this point with their only interaction being free spells (no MH1 Forces since it is their turn). They should die to their own draw.

Labman Wins

Thassa's Oracle / Jace, Wielder of Mysteries + Demonic Consultation / Tainted Pact - SLAM IT ASAP. Either they counter it and the game moves on or they don't and we win. If you have counter back up even better, but I don't think it's necessary. We can always recur it if it goes bad and we have other ways of winning.

Value Town

Ad Nauseam

Seedborn Muse + Tasigur, the Golden Fang - Effectively draw a card each turn, minimum.

Training Grounds + Tasigur, the Golden Fang - Cheap Tasigur activations allow you to leverage graveyard interaction if someone is about to go off. Just don't mention the counters in your hand. Add Seedborn to this and this is a card advantage dream come true.

Jace, Wielder of Mysteries - just play a value Jace, it throws everyone off.

Synergies

Entomb + Life from the Loam - Literally my favorite move.

Life from the Loam + Exploration + Strip Mine / Wasteland - Double up on land removal or play your land while still removing problematic colors.

Narset, Parter of Veils / Notion Thief + Timetwister / Windfall - Classic no hand for you.

Crop Rotation + Bojuka Bog - lol instant graveyard removal.
