Maybeboard

I've been playing and upgrading this Omnath deck for a few years now, it's not the typical Omnath deck that just ramps to get things over quickly (I don't like those) so no weenie mana dorks. There is a lot more to this deck then meets the eye. Also there are a lot of combo's but no infinity (don't like those either)

The deck keeps evolving and changes happen on regular basis (due to new cards from new sets)

The meaning of the deck's name:

playing Omnath will boost the deck but most of the time I use him as a decoy, in other words whether Omnath is in play or not the efficiency of this deck with unbelievable synergy will remain...and a dead Omnath means your opponent used a spell on the wrong target...also with a bit of luck you can recast him on the same turn he died with Vedalken Orrery, Winding Canyons or Yeva, Nature's Herald and thus keeping the mana in your pool.

Synergy examples:

Tooth and Nail to fetch Avenger of Zendikar and Regal Force => fatties, weenies and cards

Champion of Rhonas and Maze of Ith => haha exert my Ith => free creature each turn. Why no elvish piper? Champion of Rhonas has bigger body and no activation cost. Maze of Ith can also be used in other situations

Temur Sabertooth and Eternal Witness => get cards from graveyard and make indestructable at same time!

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Omnath, Locus of Mana => first pump Omnath then use Selvala, Heart of the Wilds result: an even bigger Omnath and lots of mana

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Omnath, Locus of Mana with Seedborn Muse wait WHAAAAT! If you can get them going for just one round OMG Mana

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Worldspine Wurm => mana ka-ching and card draw

Worldspine Wurm and Momentous Fall => or with Greater Good draw 15 cards and get three 5/5 tramplers

But how to get those big costly creatures on the table? Cards like Champion of Rhonas and Natural Order and Thicket Elemental...

Scroll Rack and Vizier of the Menagerie => cast creatures from deck while you keep other type of spells in hand

Survival of the Fittest and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre search for Ulamog, then discard him => graveyard back in library

A lot of cards act as catalysts for the deck like Emerald Medallion, Caged Sun Extraplanar Lens, Mana Reflection , Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and others

Creature tutors like Chord of Calling, Eldritch Evolution, Green Sun's Zenith, Natural Order, Ring of Three Wishes, Survival of the Fittest, Tooth and Nail....

A lot of carddrawing/fixing: Magus of the Library, Mind's Eye, Mirri's Guile, Momentous Fall, Greater Good,Sylvan Laibrary,Scroll Rack, Sylvan Library, Worldly Tutor...

How does it work:

a lot of card advantage, a well thought out tool box and of course a lot of mana and big creatures. The deck also contains a lot of answers to different situations...just try it, this deck is really fun to play with. This deck also recovers fast after a board whipe

feel free to comment (suggestions) and upvote if you feel the synergy ;-)
