Kret on Muldrotha: Budget Elemental Tribe!

Soul of the Harvest, Fertilid, Mulldrifter and Shriekmaw are good budget elementals.
Wolfbriar Elemental is a nice mana sink in the late game.
Consider adding backgrounds like Master Chef or Scion of Halaster.
You are running Joint Exploration. Consider similar cards like Explore or Growth Spiral. They can let your deck gain some early velocity.
If you play multiple elementals with evoke then a card like Village Rites becomes useful because you can cast it in response to the evoke trigger and draw 2. Card like Evolutionary Leap could also be used in response to evoke trigger to draw a fresh elemental
Zendikar's Roil can let you go wide with elementals.
Tatyova, Steward of Tides makes your lands into 3/3/ elementals
Kenrith's Transformation is a great removal spell that replaces itself and can be recurred.
Tezzeret's Gambit draws 2 cards and proliferates.
Nissa, Voice of Zendikar puts counters on each creature for just 3 mana

Cards I would replace:
- cards with kicker and Vine Gecko (they are generally worse cards than regular budget ramp spells like Rampant Growth or Cultivate)
- 6 forests because you have low mana curve (I would cut the land count to something like 36 lands, but you could also swap them for dual lands with basic land types from Kaldheim - Woodland Chasm, Dominaria United - Haunted Mire, Temple cycle - Temple of Malady or bounce lands - Golgari Rot Farm
- Titania, Protector of Argoth because there is only one card -> Harrow that can proc her ability to make elementals
I would also cut some of the elementals that don't have any useful abilties like Jaddi Lifestrider, Healer of the Glade, Glade Watcher, Floodhound, Offalsnout, Smolder Initiate and Slitherwisp.

Hope you find some of the suggestions helpful.

I'd recommend starting with the foundation, your lands and mana base. It's what allows you to cast spells and ultimately do all the things you want to do. Expand your options of dual color lands (Command Tower or Temple of Malady) and find some affordable mana rocks. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, or Golgari Signet would do nicely. Mind you these are affordable options that can be easy upgrades.

As you play your deck in games you'll figure out a direction that suits your play style.

As someone who loves infect, I have to say your list has waaaaaaaaaay too many creatures and lands. Even slower versions like mine, a Monoblack one, run around 12 creatures + 4 Inkmoth Nexus. Infect is a strong mechanic. So, in order to make it balanced, WOTC made the creatures really bad, which is why it's usually a bad idea to run this many of them. And 28 lands is asking to get mana flooded

Nevertheless, I'll give my suggestions without trying to chance to core ideia of the deck. If playing this was is how you have fun and it works for you and your friends, then I just want to help you make it better without modifying its core.

If you want me to give you suggestions more aligned with how Infect is normally played, tell me and I'll be happy to help. I just wanted to respect your deckbuilding style as much as possible with these.

legendofa no worries about being pushy, and you are right, connecting dmg could be a problem with this deck. I think Thriving Grove may be my best bet for a red source. Just because it supplies green as well and can be swapped out for Temple of Malady, may need another red source as well though. I think Kessig Wolf Run may be the best fit for the deck of the 3 you brought up due to its ability to also buff the moths, replacing Pendelhaven’s limited uses, as Pendelhaven is extremely restrictive in that it can only buff the moths and and only so much.

1 - Mana and Ramp:

Muldrotha, the Gravetide is a 6 CmC sultai commander. He's an expensive commander and most of the time even more mana you'll need to activate his abilities.

I want Muldrotha quickly on the field, especially if I've already fed the graveyard... And to be quick I need lands that don't waste my time. If the theme is not Lands, I don't put many lands in the deck because muldrotha doesn't bring advantages to these permanents, that is, if you've already played a land from the graveyard, you won't be able to play one from your hand or vice versa. I prefer mana rocks or mana creatures because they can give muldrotha something else to use beyond mana...

Why have Opulent Palace or Temple of Deceit/Temple of Malady and then have the powerful Lake of the Dead in the lands list? My advice: try to use lands that give you an advantage when you put them on the field because you will have many cards that will benefit, being the muldrotha one of them.

There are some better budget lands than the ones you are currently running. I've put parentheses around some that aren't quite as cheap and bolded the ones that are definitely in your price range.

Painlands: Llanowar Wastes, (Karplusan Forest)

Check lands: Dragonskull Summit, Rootbound Crag, (Woodland Cemetery)

MDFC lands: Cragcrown Pathway  Flip, (Blightstep Pathway  Flip), (Darkbore Pathway  Flip)

Scry lands: Temple of Malady, Temple of Malice, Temple of Abandon
