Vine Gecko

Creature — Elemental Lizard

The first kicked spell you cast each turn costs less to cast.

Whenever you cast a kicked spell, put a +1/+1 counter on Vine Gecko.

Kret on Muldrotha: Budget Elemental Tribe!

Soul of the Harvest, Fertilid, Mulldrifter and Shriekmaw are good budget elementals.
Wolfbriar Elemental is a nice mana sink in the late game.
Consider adding backgrounds like Master Chef or Scion of Halaster.
You are running Joint Exploration. Consider similar cards like Explore or Growth Spiral. They can let your deck gain some early velocity.
If you play multiple elementals with evoke then a card like Village Rites becomes useful because you can cast it in response to the evoke trigger and draw 2. Card like Evolutionary Leap could also be used in response to evoke trigger to draw a fresh elemental
Zendikar's Roil can let you go wide with elementals.
Tatyova, Steward of Tides makes your lands into 3/3/ elementals
Kenrith's Transformation is a great removal spell that replaces itself and can be recurred.
Tezzeret's Gambit draws 2 cards and proliferates.
Nissa, Voice of Zendikar puts counters on each creature for just 3 mana

Cards I would replace:
- cards with kicker and Vine Gecko (they are generally worse cards than regular budget ramp spells like Rampant Growth or Cultivate)
- 6 forests because you have low mana curve (I would cut the land count to something like 36 lands, but you could also swap them for dual lands with basic land types from Kaldheim - Woodland Chasm, Dominaria United - Haunted Mire, Temple cycle - Temple of Malady or bounce lands - Golgari Rot Farm
- Titania, Protector of Argoth because there is only one card -> Harrow that can proc her ability to make elementals
I would also cut some of the elementals that don't have any useful abilties like Jaddi Lifestrider, Healer of the Glade, Glade Watcher, Floodhound, Offalsnout, Smolder Initiate and Slitherwisp.

Hope you find some of the suggestions helpful.

Vine Gecko used to be in here, but then Goblin Anarchomancer was released...

Bard Class may be worth running, but as it stands I don't see it as being better than anything else in the deck :/

There is one Feather deck in my playgroup, and as much as I'd love to have a game where Cindervines kills them I do see the merit in Breach. Again, testing must be done!

Chalice certainly a favorite of mine, it's hiding at the top of the Ramp and Kicker categories ;)

Again, thank you so much for taking the time to comment! Magic dialogue is up there among the things that make me chattiest...

Would for sure test it out! Cindervines is a really good anti combo piece against anything with storm or the many different Underworld Breach Combos running around, but if that's not super prevalent in your playgroup, I could see it being cut! It also doesn't do a whole lot against single card combos, like Kiki or Ad Naus. And I believe you are correct, a conspired spell wouldn't trigger your commander's casting trigger, though a conspired copied spell would still be kicked if the original target was also kicked!

Also in terms of newer cards, Bard Class may also fit your bill, making your commander cheaper and entering with a 1/1 counter!

And in brainstorming, I did think of things with Multikicker! Everflowing Chalice is a great scaling ramp spell! Or if you intend to cast a whole bunch of kicked spells, the cost reduction from Vine Gecko seems decent!

defamagraphy1 on Lurrus Kicker

Hmm. I'm kinda feeling this in a Sultai type build, with Vine Gecko and then switch Lurrus to a companion spot. I feel like Rankle pulls a ton of weight though. My biggest question is, how is the kicker part of it going? Are you casting spells with Kicker a lot or just certain ones? Is this more of a midrange into late game kind of approach?
