Demon tribal with a zombie sub-theme of course.

This is what i call a "Pseudo Competitive" deck for casual use. It can sorta hold its own against competitive decks and fairs well in 1v1's despite being made for multiplayer.

Note to self: make custom categories ie: "card" #customname. turn description into a primer. maybe replace Ob Nixilis, Unshackled with Mirror of the Forebears , you've never even casted him. get Mirror of the Forebears (maybe swap out with Desecration Demon ).

There are a few synergies in the deck, as i find new ones i'll list them.

Main win condition's

Smashing peoples faces in with large creatures

Tutor and playing Sorin Markov , setting life total to 10 and swinging in for lethal. only works in 1v1.

Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle + Grave Titan/Abhorrent Overlord = infinite colorless mana and tokens. you can pour the mana into either Exsanguinate to win or Dark Salvation to get even more infinite zombies. Geth, Lord of the Vault to infinitely mill and Staff of Domination for infinite life gain, card draw, untapping, and tapping. you can use the infinite mana to abuse etb with Ashnod's Altar and Nim Deathmantle .

Coat of Arms + Army of the Damned/zombie generation + Ghoulcaller Gisa = 13 14/14 zombies. sac one to Ghoulcaller Gisa to put out 14 more zombies to have 27 28/28 zombies. this is the main zombie synergy, but a few more cards make them.

Coat of Arms + Abhorrent Overlord + devotion = lots of big angry harpies.

Turn 4 win

Turn 1: swamp into Sol Ring into Nim Deathmantle . pass turn.

Turn 2: swamp. tap swamp and Sol Ring to play Ashnod's Altar. pass turn.

Turn 3: swamp. tap 2 swamps and Sol Ring to play Thran Dynamo. tap Thran Dynamo to play Commander's Sphere. pass turn.

Turn 4: swamp. tap 3 swamp and Thran Dynamo to play Grave Titan, you now have infinite mana and zombie tokens. Use the remaining swamp and Commander's Sphere to play Exsanguinate for infinite mana and win.

to do this requires perfect hand and draws, i dont think i will ever get the perfect hand and draws. but the possibility is there.

Blade of Selves + any creature with a nice etb + more then one opponent = abusing etb. example Rune-Scarred Demon for tutor or Gray Merchant of Asphodel for drain and gain.

Some old synergies using cards no longer in the deck.

Skirsdag High Priest + a few creatures + Xathrid Demon = consistent creatures to feed to the Xathrid Demon . each opponent will loose 5 life (most likely, more the demon tokens get big) each turn.

Blood Speaker + Skirsdag High Priest = consistent morbid trigger, token creation, and demon tutoring.

use Praetor's Grasp to steal peoples Sol Ring, steal other mana rocks or good cards, and eliminate combo pieces. if you use it to steal a mana rock it becomes a black ramp spell.

Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath emblem + Palace Siege + Gray Merchant of Asphodel = card draw and life gain each turn as you recycle Gary.

Xathrid Demon + Reaper from the Abyss + Skirsdag High Priest + Grave Betrayal= a self sustaining morbid triggering, creature killing, token creation, creature stealing, game ending engine. trigger morbid once, use Skirsdag High Priest to make a token. next turn sac said token to Xathrid Demon , use Skirsdag High Priest ability to make new token, then Reaper from the Abyss 's ability to kill an opponents creature you want, and finally Grave Betrayal's trigger to steal the creature killed with Reaper from the Abyss . since i took out Skirsdag High Priest this doesnt really work anymore. there are other ways of getting big tokens to sac though. like Coat of Arms and Army of the Damned. Xathrid Demon + Demon of Death's Gate or any of the big demons + Tribal boosts + Palace Siege = a shit ton of life being lost be opponents while you just recycle until you win.

Rune-Scarred Demon + Xathrid Demon + Palace Siege + Belbe's Portal = Xathrid Demon trigger to sac the Rune-Scarred Demon, Palace Siege trigger to get Rune-Scarred Demon back into your hand, use Belbe's Portal play Rune-Scarred Demon and tutor. this means each opponent will lose lots of life you you get to tutor each turn.

Grave Betrayal + In Garruk's Wake = a mean combo and fun to pull off.
