Budget-friendly concept deck for Zirda, the Dawnwaker-companion with two partner commanders (friends forever). This deck's focus is generating value through tap/untap abilities of permanents and then, using one of the finishers such as: Devout Invocation, Crash the Party, Burn at the Stake, Halo Fountain. Mana base hase to be streamlined. Currently looking for card and strategy suggestions.

Combos

• Citanul Stalwart or Gene Pollinator or Meria, Scholar of Antiquity and Immovable Rod results in reliable room triggers

• Citanul Stalwart or Gene Pollinator or Jaspera Sentinel or Springleaf Drum or Moonsnare Prototype and Magda, Brazen Outlaw generating at least 1 treasure a turn.

• Stella Lee, Wild Card and either Flying Crane Technique or Intellectual Offering or Benefactor's Draught or Energy Arc or Mob Rule will let you untap your creatures infinitely.

• Bjorna, Nightfall Alchemist sacrificing Heaped Harvest allows you to fetch a basic in addition to goading a creature.

• Professor Zei, Anthropologist second ability in combination with Othelm, Sigardian Outcast's reanimation effect allows you to return 1 instant/sorcery to your hand per turn, which might be very important once you have presented a untap loop with Stella Lee, Wild Card.

Updates

• February 26, 2026: Replacing Saheeli, Sublime Artificer for Ravenous Robots: PW are hard to protect and she is quite expensive if I want to immediately create a servo token. The robot has the advantage of being able to grant all my creature tokens haste, which can help me close out games after casting Devout Invocation, Ezuri's Predation, or Clone Legion.

• February 26, 2026: Replacing Sunstar Chaplain with New Generation's Technique: Sunstar did only prove it's worth in a 1 vs 1 scenario and was otherwise useless. Ramp is a little bit lacking in the current version. Sneak offers a new opportunity to reuse ETB's.

• February 27, 2026: Removed New Generation's Technique for Huatli, Poet of Unity  : NGT proved to be clunky and most of the times it got stuck in my hand. I hope that I can use Huatli's ETB and Saga side (top 2 chapters are relevant!) often by reanimating it with Othelm, Sigardian Outcast.

• February 27, 2026: Exchanged Tarnation Vista for Pit of Offerings: I came to the realization that I value early game mana color availability higher than the potential to generate +1 mana (which occured maybe only once or twice). Targeted gy removal is an added bonus.

• April 10, 2026: Removed Crackleburr for Sanar, Unfinished Genius: Crackleburr has never performed the way I anticipated, because either I didn't have enought red/blue creatures or because it had summoning sickness. Instead, I'll test Sanar as it does 4 things: 1. Ramps 2. Searches for an instant/sorcery (boardwipe/wincon most likely) 3. has a quasi ETB, which I can abuse by reanimating it with Othelm, Sigardian Outcast 4. creates an artifact for Bjorna, Nightfall Alchemist's ability.

• April 20, 2026: Removed the following lands Seaside Citadel, Cinder Glade, and Frontier Bivouac for 2 check lands and Sodden Verdure.

• April 24, 2026: Removed Sodden Verdure for Scorched Geyser.

• June 14, 2026: Removed Tender Wildguide for Dora Milaje Elite as the Elite has more synergies with the commanders.

• August 27, 2026: Replaced Fresh Meat with The Eagles Are Coming!, because the later is more versatile.

• September 15, 2026: Removed Jaspera Sentinel for Heartwood Crafter as the later can generate mana by itself, which I can use to cast my commanders, activate abilities, or flashback stuff from my graveyard. Furthermore, it creates an artifact on t2, while ramping me, which can be used by Bjorna later on. Orthelm can reset the prepared spell by reanimating it, which makes the dork a great chump blocker (Jaspera Sentinel's Reach ability will be missed though!).
