Saheeli, Sublime Artificer

Legendary Planeswalker — Saheeli

Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, create a 1/1 colourless Servo artifact creature token.

-2: Target artifact you control becomes a copy of another artifact or creature you control until end of turn, except it's an artifact in addition to its other types.

i have Saheeli, Sublime Artificer on hand actually. TheoryCrafter, who would you cut to add her? I should definitely add Near-Death Experience. I'll probably take out Lich's Mirror for it.

Since you have Worldfire in your deck, Near-Death Experience can add a little redundancy.

Also, have you considered Saheeli, Sublime Artificer? With all the noncreature spells you have, a way to create chump blockers would be beneficial to your Planeswalkers.

I hope this helps. Happy Hunting!

Might I suggest Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer or Saheeli, Sublime Artificer to increase your artifact generation?

I have a few ideas, not sure if any are good but I thought I would share.

I am not sure how quickly and easily you get delirium online, but there are a few ways you can potentially make it easier. Esper Sentinel is probably better depending on your meta, but the card draw can be strong and it counts as 2 towards delirium. Similarly, Skrelv, Defector Mite is another 2-for-1 card that can help protect your key pieces. Lastly, is Saheeli, Sublime Artificer a playable card? It costs one more than Third Path Iconoclast but it is a different type for delirium and it does the same generation while having potential unique utility.

This may be a little out there of a take, but I think that part of it at least is that most cards are designed with commander at least somewhat in mind now, and life point effects don't translate to EDH well for one reason or another. Either they are underpowered because gaining a few life in the land of giant creatures isn't as good, or they go towards too powerful because you can pay more life early in the game with something like Necropotence.

I think they are using the space of "if thing then other thing" like Saheeli, Sublime Artificer or Orcish Bowmasters as a play pattern rather than non-mana cost systems because it translates more 1-1 to EDH.

so first of all you need an oathbreaker spell, i would recommend Thoughtcast. this is played as an artifact storm deck, running many 0cmc artifacts.(note do NOT run Chalice of the Void for 0cmc as it will stop you from casting the other artifacts)

assemble a loop, the most simple one is with Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain or Vedalken Archmage play a free artifact, draw a card for playing artifacts. but you can’t guarantee you will always draw a artifact so cards that let you scry are very useful Artificer's Assistant is a prime example, also cards like Teferi's Ageless Insight bolster the card draw.

in addition remember that as you cast an artifact Saheeli, Sublime Artificer gives you another servo token, and adds that care about artifact count love easy artifact tokens. aka thoughtcast.

so you play artifacts to draw cards and play more artifacts, now what? how does this deck win?

cards like Hedron Detonator & Reckless Fireweaver deal damage when an artifact enters, and each artifact enters the battlefield with an additional token, so for playing a free artifact you can do 4 damage. good rate if you ask me. however if you have an opponent with prot. red dmg might be a hard time, however BrainFreeze is the perfect alt win con, allowing you to mill 3 cards, with storm.

storm cards are a good starting point but sometimes you’ll get to 15-20 and can’t quit finish them off, cards like Recall bring all artifact back to your had (sadly the tokens too) but allows you to play all the 0cmc artifacts again, doubling the storm count, pushing it well over 30 if done correctly

wrap up: i would say Spellbook is an auto include because you are filling up your hand so much. additionally if you are confident in your draw engine you can put Thassa's Oracle and have a second alt win con. alsoUrza's Saga is an a round amazing card in this deck rewarding a high artifact count.

finaly sometimes you just need a classic beatsick, beefed up monster shoot for ones with -keyword: improvise- like Kappa Cannoneer

if you have any more questions please ask :) happy to spread knowledge and love of mtg

heres my list, feel free to tweak it however : https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/100-budget-izzit-0s/

Welcome to the club, CMO!

How much mileage do you get out of Saheeli, Sublime Artificer? With only four artifacts to copy, this might be better served as another Young Pyromancer if you want the token production.

Of those artifacts, do you ever hit 50 life for Aetherflux Reservoir? If you're just using it as a life buffer, that slot could probably go to something that helps you win more quickly, instead of slowing down your opponent's progress. Same thing with Everflowing Chalice: if it's not directly helping you win in an Izzet spellslinger deck, it's just slowing the game down. Some decks like to control the pace of the game like that, but I think this deck wants to go faster. Like Balaam__ said, adding a few lands would help reliability.

In general, a deck wants more copies of its key cards. A lot of 1-ofs and 2-ofs will just kind of dilute the deck. Pick the cards you like best and get four copies of those. As an example, between Spellheart Chimera and Kinetic Augur, load up on the one that you like more and cut the other. This will give your deck more consistency.

You could also get away with labeling this as a Modern deck; all of the cards are Modern-legal.

Above all, have fun!
