I'm curious if Loam Dryad will "trigger" Nyxbloom Ancient twice, since I would be tapping two creatures as the cost to generate one mana of any color? Therefore it would generate nine mana, not three? The only part that has me unsure is the singular "it" portion on Nyxbloom, which makes me wonder if it only counts for the card generating the mana. Thanks in advance!

Comparing Drum and Loam Dryad , I'd rather drop Dryad. They are here for the same purpose, but Dryad is slower due to summoning sickness.

whatqwerty I added Explore --many gratuities for that suggestion. The Loam Dryad and Caretaker are nice but slow: don't think I'll being putting them in.

I too think that 8 drain dudes are too much: in my opinion you'll be good with just the 4 of Marauding Blight-Priest. You could add green to take advantage of Essence Warden and the mana dorks like Avacyn's Pilgrim, Loam Dryad and Saruli Caretaker: they could help swarm the board and ping the opponent faster (or just attack with a huge army of 1/1s lol). Green also gives you acces to card draw like Winding Way and Lead the Stampede. Some time ago youtuber CalebGannon made an Abzan Soul Sister list with this strategy: you could check his video to take some inspiration. Happy brewing! :)

hungry000 Very nice. I'm not sure about the single Rancor, so I'd take it out, two Nest Invaders and one Loam Dryad for 4x Unearth.

Curve looks a little high without much ramp or fixing. Maybe something like Loam Dryad and Ulvenwald Captive Flip can help out with that if you're not looking to run more traditional ramp.
Some other on-flavor options to bring the curve down a bit are Wharf Infiltrator (also lets you ditch higher-costed cards you might not be able to use for value and recur with your Hell's Caretaker) and Plague Spitter. Woe Strider is a nice piece of recurrable value that helps you smooth your draws a bit.
Fleshwrither is a nice utility horror that lets you go search for pieces like Hell's Caretaker or Ravenous Chupacabra.
And while it may not be as budget, Phyrexian Revoker helps you answer some threats from across the board.
