Alright you silly pancakes. Here's my 17 land deck.

Zero mana cards:

Chrome Mox: Broken mana ramp.
Lotus Petal: Necessary with only 17 lands.
Mana Crypt: GG best card in edh.
Mox Opal: Playable with 14 total artifacts, especially with how may cards we draw.
Tormod's Crypt: Zero mana graveyard hate.
Faerie Macabre: Zero mana graveyard hate.
Elvish Spirit Guide: Mana ramp.
Simian Spirit Guide: Mana ramp.
Street Wraith: Turns out 1-mana tutors that tutor to the top of the deck into something more resembling demonic tutors.
Force of Will: Zero mana counterspell. /swag
Intervention Pact: Combos with Hive Mind
Manamorphose: Essentially zero mana, fixes, and has the same function as Street Wraith when tutoring.
Mental Misstep: zero mana counterspell strikes again!
Noxious Revival: zero mana regrowth. /close enough
Pact of Negation: more zero mana counter-magic, and synergizes somewhat with hive mind. They are much more likely to be able to produce 3UU though, as blue is a popular color, but perhaps not if we combo early enough.
Slaughter Pact: Another win-con with hive mind, and can kill things.
Snuff Out: Kills shit for no mana.
Gitaxian Probe: Fantastic card. so good. zero mana. much wow.
Land Grant: Zero mana to fix your mana.

Who needs lands anyway?

One mana cards:

Mana Vault: 1 mana for 3 mana is fair. thanks wizards
Sensei's Divining Top: Senpai's Holy Beyblade.
Sol Ring: 1 mana for 2 mana is fair. thanks wizards.
Birds of Paradise: Good mana fixing. Only 1 mana.
Deathrite Shaman: Just a fantastic card. Mana fixing and graveyard interactive.
Noble Hierarch: Good mana fixing. Gets white, which is nice because I usually don't fetch for that color.
Carpet of Flowers: This card.
Angel's Grace: Obvious combo with Ad Nauseam is obvious.
Brainstorm: someone told me this was a good card
Chain of Vapor: 1-mana instant nonland-permanent hate.
Crop Rotation: Decent fixing. Puts a swamp into play when you need it for Snuff Out, and puts a Command Tower into play when you need infinite mana of all five colors with Worldgorger Dragon combo.
Dark Ritual: 1 mana for 3 mana, thanks wizards.
Dispel: One mana counter-spells are vital to comboing.
Enlightened Tutor: tutor
Entomb: broken tutor. Puts worldgorger Dragon into the yard for the combo, and can also put Enter the Infinite into the yard for Mizzex Mastery or regrowth effects post-omniscience.
Flusterstorm: more of that sweet cheap countermagic.
Mystical Tutor: tutor
Nature's Claim: one mana interaction against hate cards.
Pongify: Can kill worldgorger among other things. Also can kill an opponent's Gaddock Teeg or w/e.
Rapid Hybridization: Same as Pongify.
Reclaim: one-mana regrowth. It's realllll good.
Stifle: One-mana say no.
Swan Song: Hnnng so good
Swords to Plowshares: More one-mana interaction.
Vampiric Tutor: Broken
Worldly Tutor: Gets Academy Rector.
Careful Study: Digs two for winning with lab man, and can discard worldgorger or a card for Mizzex mastery.
Faithless Looting: same as Careful Study.
Gamble: kind of a gamble, but usually works out.
Imperial Seal: Tutor
Ponder: Cantrip
Preordain: Cantrip

Two mana things

Fellwar Stone: It's okay ramp.
Grim Monolith: Aims high for Ad Nauseam.
Scroll Rack: Digs deep post-ad nauseam or wheel.
Dimir Signet: These are the main two colors.
Talisman of Dominance: Our colors are sultai primarily
Snapcaster Mage: Can do stuff.
Animate Dead: Worldgorger combo
Dance of the Dead: Worldgorger combo
Sylvan Library: Draw power boyz
Dig Through Time: Excellent card selection
Flash: Combo with Academy Rector.
Demonic Tutor: So good So juicy
Merchant Scroll: Another tutor
Regrowth: So good.
Nature's Lore: Fixing and ramp. It's certainly one of the weaker cards in the deck. Flex slot for sure.

Three mana things

Laboratory Maniac: Wincon
Necropotence: Huge draw power
Intuition: Essentially an instant speed tutor. Fantastic post-omniscience 10/10.
Timetwister: These are strong effects, especially at their undercosted CMC's.
Wheel of Fortune: Again, these are very necessary. Just dump your hand into play, then draw a new one.
Windfall: Same concept. Slightly weaker, still good.
Yawgmoth's Will: End-game finisher.

Four+ mana things (usually part of win-cons where we cast when we have infinite mana, so their mana costs are usually irrelevant)

Academy Rector: With Flash gets Omniscience.
Worldgorger Dragon: Goes infinite mana with Animate Dead and Dance of the Dead.
Hive Mind: kills people with pacts, forcing them to have to pay their upkeep costs.
Omniscience: Yay! Free shit!
Ad Nauseam: Just draws like 10+ cards, or your whole deck if you have the angel's grace.
Stroke of Genius: Wins with infinite mana. cuttable.
Dark Petition: Kinda just another 2 drop honestly. Decent tutor.
Enter the Infinite: Wins with infinite mana or omniscience.

When you move cards around the mana curve to put them in their functional position (ie: moving Force of Will from 5 mana to zero mana), then you get an average functional CMC of about 1.5, which is incredibly low. However, if we also ignore the 4+ mana cards completely since we often cost them off of infinite mana anyway, the average CMC then drops to an astounding 0.8~. Now that is FAST. :D
