Maybeboard

Always keep a supply of pocket sand ready to get by your opponents defenses! With the amount of evasion in this deck we can reliably hit an opponent whenever we want. However, the main goal of this deck is to never be the biggest threat at the table, and to gather resources while our opponents beat each other. Once the dust clears, step in with one of our evasive creatures to finish the game. The deck break down is as follows.

Play Some Politics

It is important to make attacking you as undesirable as possible while "encouraging" our opponents to attack each other. No Mercy and Propaganda allows us to turtle up, while Crown of Doom, Vow of Flight, and Dulcet Sirens facilitate combat between our opponents. Hunted Phantasm also adds an interesting wrinkle in that it can be used to give a player who needs blockers (or attackers) some goblin tokens while providing a low CMC unblockable that triggers Sygg.

Consistent Damage Output

We want to be able get at least 3 damage through at any time. This deck packs numerous ways to get damage through via creatures with evasion and other effects. Some of the more interesting options are listed here:

Duskmantle Seer - There is a solid chance that at least one opponent will reveal a card with a CMC 3 or greater. The curve of this deck is pretty low so it is unlikely we will take a ton of damage from it.

Vile Consumption - Doubles as removal but probably will cause enough incremental damage to creature base decks to trigger Sygg. This deck also does not want to commit too many creatures to the battlefield at a time so we shouldn't suffer too much life loss. Vile Consumption also combos nicely with Hunted Phantasm.

Painful Quandary - 5 damage per spell is pretty potent!

Undermine - Counter a spell, and if Sygg is in play, draw a card.

Keeper of Keys - With Sygg in play and we retain the monarchy, which should be easy with the previously discussed preventative measures, this card essentially reads "draw 2 cards at the end of your turn".

Ending the game

Hopefully as the game has matured, your opponents have spent more time beating each other than hitting you. Now it is time to step in and finish the game. We can do this in a number of ways. Heavy life loss can be caused through combat with Quietus Spike, Wrexial, the Risen Deep, Silent-Blade Oni, Chasm Skulker, and Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni.

The other option is to end the game through using our opponents cards. A number of the above creatures already do this, but we also use a number of Control Magic-esq cards to steal opponents creatures/spells. We can also clone our opponents greatest threats with Sakashima's Student, Clever Impersonator, Dimir Doppelganger, etc.

Suggestions for ways to improve the deck are much appreciated. Especially for ways to increase the political-ness of the deck. Also, please +1 if you like the deck!
