Sideboard

Maybeboard

Step 1: During main phase one, steal an opponent's creature until end of turn through cards such as Act of Treason

Step 2: Swing that creature at the player with the highest life total. Dethrone, granted by Marchesa, gives it a +1/+1 counter on the declare attack step. Don't worry if it gets blocked, that won't interrupt your combo.

Step 3: In main phase 2, use one of your sac outlets to sacrifice the stolen creature. Marchesa's revival ability goes on the stack at the time of death. Since the creature has died, you no longer have to return it to your opponent at the end of the turn from Act of Treason. At the end of the turn, Marchesa will return that creature to your side of the battlefield, now permanently under your control

Step 4: Laugh maniacally as your playgroup is forever afraid to cast their good creatures

Don't be afraid to dump your life away to cards like Viscera Seer and Unspeakable Symbol to ensure you're never at the highest life total. You want to be able to consistently get dethrone triggers every turn.

NOTE: This will not work on opponents' commanders, as when you sacrifice it they can choose to put it in the command zone. Marchesa's ability only brings back creatures from the graveyard. (Although this is an easy way to get your opponents' commanders off the board if there's nothing better to steal)

ALSO NOTE: Don't be afraid to swing with Marchesa! Even if she gets blocked and killed, her revival ability works on herself! Since the ability goes on the stack at the time of death, she will bring herself back from the graveyard at the end of the turn. The only way to prevent this ability is to disallow it, which an opponent can only do once per game. This ability makes your board all but completely immune to board wipes so long as you maintain +1/+1 counters on all your creatures. The only way for opponents to get rid of your creatures is to kill them before you can get dethrone triggers on them, to exile them, or to put them back in your library.

If you want to make this deck cheaper: Mana Drain, Cryptic Command, Cyclonic Rift, Rhystic Study, Phyrexian Arena, Mox Amber, Glen Elendra Archmage, Riptide Laboratory, City of Brass, and Mana Confluence can be safely subbed out. Some good budget options are in the sideboard.
