I was having three issues with Atraxa and deck-building: - Didn't want to buy expensive fetch-lands for four-Colour Atraxa - Was having issues with consistency and synergy in my Atraxa builds - Was having issues with card draw in my Atraxa builds - Needed to find a cheap way to play land matter deck

So I came up with this idea to brew Atraxa, the Explore mechanic and Lands matter cards together in one deck to fix those issues I was having. Surprisingly I've found it hard to find any Explore EDH decks out there! Explore is great because it combines +1/+1, Scry and land draw all in one mechanic, and thanks to Ixalan and Rivals of Ixalan, there's quite enough support to put a explore package into a deck.

The goal of this deck using the ramp spells like Cultivate in conjunction with the Explore mechanic to ramp your land base quickly, in the process creating creatures with +1/+1 counters through Explore and proliferating them with Atraxa, Viral Drake and Evoloution Sage. The win con involves either swinging with your board of creatures, applying infect on them with Triumph of the Hordes or using Torment of Hellfire to finish out the game with all that sweet mana that you to avail.
