When I saw Solemnity for the first time, I immediately thought it was the most broken card that had been printed in recent sets. It seems it isn't as good as I thought, but it makes for some cool combos while still being a strong disruption card against the right matchup. Here are a few combos this deck takes advantage of to be competitive without the addition of Ad Nauseam and Necropotence:

Solemnity + Glacial Chasm.

Solemnity + Dark Depths.

Solemnity + Phyrexian Unlife.

Solemnity + Glen Elendra Archmage.

Solemnity + Ashnod's Altar or Martyr's Cause + any undying/persist monster (Geralf's Messenger, Geralf's Mindcrusher, Puppeteer Clique, and Twilight Shepherd).

Solemnity + Attrition + any undying/persist monster.

Solemnity + Decree of Silence

Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.

Crucible of Worlds + Dust Bowl, Ghost Quarter, or Wasteland.

The rest of the cards in the deck are used to set up or protect these combos. Advice is very appreciated, especially relating to Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Razaketh, the Foulblooded which I think may be better suited for an Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim/Solemnity deck that I will start working on soon (please go to comment #16 to see my current thoughts on their addition).
