Dimir Midrange Nooze because "Good help is hard to dig up."

38 lands is too much you say? that is because you tend to prefer 27land storm lists that include lotta rocks and sometimes even dorks to reach a total of 45 mana cards. i dont want to tap out for ramp here. either holding mana open for interaction or use it to draw, loot, tutor or reanimate. this has great synergy with getwreckedleviathan during midgame. this amount of lands secures to hit the first 3-4 lands and loot away whats left while not mulliganing to a shitty hand. its a slower but steadier style to develop mana. not as explosive in surpassing a critical number at mana but it uses the actual mana more efficienrtly on spells before doing so a little later.

lots of tempo enignes help being good against stax and control. there are the small (Ancestral Vision), medium (Merfolk Looter) and big (Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur) engines. transitioning from one into another will secure enough interaction until you can and want to or need to pull the trigger.

a protected Void Winnower can win games if it isnt Buried Alive.

zur is extremely flexible backup. he can seek for more cards, looting, removal and reanimation. because of that he can be used reactive and/or proactive to push towards combo/reanimation.

sideboard is for 100% optimized build as mine isnt yet (but functional very strong)

whenever i went for the ooze combo i had enough to kill a table consisting of 3 opponents. delve helps alot here because it raises the cmc without doing so... cheap to cast but high cost for phyrexian devourer. there can be games where you draw lots of cards via yin, necro and whatever so your deck got WAY smaller. i never calculated math before going for the combo. when its time then its time to go and see if its enough. and until now i wasnt let down by the curve.
