Instant (2)

Land (1)

Enchantment (1)

Not all the combos and strategies I have are listed below, but I did highlight some that appear in this deck. Some are complex and can be difficult to achieve, while others are simpler and not as challenging. I know the deck is mana expensive, so I've added as many lands, dorks, ramps, and rocks as I can, as well as some cost reducing spells.

- Create an army of Zombies and Zombie tokens to overwhelm the opposition
- Build combo that allows all creatures to be cast for 0, saving additional mana for non-creature spells
- Have backups for combos and win possibilities
- Make the deck hard to remove completely from the battlefield
- Reuse permanent abilities that require discard and/or sacrifice
Muldrotha, the Gravetide gives access to one of each type of discarded, sacrificed, and destroyed permanents during your turn; including the combo cards listed below should they be sent to the graveyard

Terramorphic Expanse
This fun little combo lets you sacrifice Terramorphic Expanse to search your library for a basic land to play on the battlefield tapped and then using Muldrotha, the Gravetide, play Terramorphic Expanse from your graveyard on your turn!

Expedition Map
This artifact requires that you sacrifice it to search for any land, reveal it, then put it in your hand. Well friends, with the magic brought to you by Muldrotha, the Gravetide, once you've sacrificed Expedition Map, just play it from your graveyard and do it all over again!

Dreamscape Artist
Another land fetcher! Pay , , and you can discard a card, and sacrifice a land to place two basic lands on the battlefield, tapped, from your library! But wait! There's more! With this special offer, Muldrotha, the Gravetide can play both the discarded card and the land from the graveyard! What a deal folks! (so long as the discarded card was not a land permanent)

Etrata, the Silencer + Defense of the Heart
Etrata, the Silencer cannot be blocked, and causes the target player to exile a target creature with a hit counter placed on it. This can cause a player to lose the game when three exiled creatures have hit counters on them. The trick is, every time Etrata, the Silencer hits a player she goes back into the owner's library. Enter Defense of the Heart, this beauty brings two creatures onto the battlefield when sacrificed (and when other conditions are met). However, since Defense of the Heart must be sacrificed in order to work, it can only be once... or can it? Enter Muldrotha, the Gravetide, who can play Defense of the Heart from the graveyard, who can pull Etrata, the Silenced back to the battlefield! (If Akroma's Memorial and Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy are in play, Etrata, the Silencer has haste and can attack instantly for player damage and another exiled creature with a hit counter)
Arcane Adaptation + Door of Destinies OR Conspiracy + Door of Destinies
Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy turns all creatures you own into a chosen type: Zombies. When Door of Destinies enters the battlefield, chose Zombies as the creature type, and place a charge counter for each zombie cast onto the battlefield. Each charge counter counts as a +1/+1 on all creatures of the chosen type. Even Muldrotha, the Gravetide can get in on the action.

Arcane Adaptation + Rooftop Storm OR Conspiracy + Rooftop Storm
With Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy making all creatures types: zombies, Rooftop Storm can make the cost of casting all your creatures 0, thus casting all creatures in your deck for free, including the commander. Many of the expensive mana creature spells can now be cast for 0, so you aren't having to worry about tapping as much land once this combo is on the board

Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy + Door of Destinies + Rooftop Storm + Doubling Season
Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy - All creatures are zombies. Door of Destinies - All zombies cast to the battlefield generate a charge counter on Door of Destinies. Each counter gives +1/+1 to all zombie creatures. Rooftop Storm - Allows the player to cast zombies for 0. Doubling Season - Doubles the number of counters placed on a permanent

The Scarab God + Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy (+ Doubling Season)
At the beginning of your upkeep The Scarab God causes each opponent to lose X life for each zombie you control. With all your creatures and creature tokens being zombies due to Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy, and Doubling Season doubling the number of creature tokens created, you could wipe out each opponents life in one turn

The Previous Combo + Temporal Mastery + Any Tutor
Since The Scarab God's ability activates at the beginning of your upkeep and you have all these Zombies and Zombie tokens out now, so instead of waiting for your next turn, go ahead and cast Temporal Mastery (or a tutor if you need to track it down in your library), and you have a new beginning of your upkeep for The Scarab God to do his dirty work

Lich Lord of Unx + Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy (+ Doubling Season)
Similar to the combo with The Scarab God, except that instead of waiting until your next upkeep, you can cast Lich Lord of Unx's mana ability and target a player who loses X life, where X is the number of Zombies you control

Liliana, Death's Majesty + Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy OR Doubling Season
As already established, Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy makes all creatures types you own, Zombies. Liliana, Death's Majesty adds a Zombie token (which would be doubled by Doubling Season as previously mentioned), and can also destroy all non-Zombie creatures as her ultimate! Your army is safe from annihilation!

Arcane Adaptation + Garruk, Cursed Huntsman OR Conspiracy + Garruk, Cursed Huntsman
Similar to the previous combo, Garruk can create two 2/2 black and green wolves (which is doubled by Doubling Season) and all wolves become a zombie creature type

Darksteel Forge + That Which Was Taken
This is an expensive mana combo, but if you can get it off, it's difficult to take down. Since both are colorless, you can use any combination of mana to cast, which makes it slightly easier. Darksteel Forge makes all artifacts Indestructible, while a player can spend 4 mana and tap That Which Was Taken (an artifact) to create a divinity counter that can be placed on a target permanent and make it Indestructible. Darksteel Forge protects That Which Was Taken, and That Which Was Taken protects other permanents (i.e. Conspiracy, Rooftop Storm, Doubling Season, As Foretold, Mind Unbound). While this may seem redundant with Muldrotha on the field, this is a good mid to late game strategy to keep key spells in play.

Rampage of the Clans + Doubling Season + Darksteel Forge + That Which Was Taken
In the event that you manage to get the Darksteel Forge and That Which Was Taken combo out, Rampage of the Clans is a great way to get tokens out! For each enchantment and artifact you destroy (yours are safe with the previous combo), you create a 3/3 green Centaur creature token. Doubling Season then doubles the number of tokens created! If you can pull this combo out with the Lich Lord of Unx or The Scarab God combos earlier, you get to watch your opponents become angsty Anakin Skywalker right before your very eyes!

Endless Ranks of the Dead + Doubling Season + Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy
Thank you multimedia for this suggestion! If all creatures become zombies, then at the beginning of my upkeep Endless Ranks of the Dead technically doubles the number of zombies on the battlefield. Where Endless Ranks of the Dead would half the number of zombies tokens created per zombie on the battlefield (rounded down), Doubling Season would double those tokens, effectively doubling my creatures on the battlefield

Mind Unbound + Reliquary Tower
Draw cards equal to the number of lore counters on Mind Unbound (which adds a lore counter at the beginning of your upkeep, and 2 counters if Doubling Season is in play). Reliquary Tower ensures that you have no maximum hand size

The Previous Combo + Arcane Adaptation OR Conspiracy + Rooftop Storm
The more cards you draw, the more creatures enter your hand, which can be played for 0. If Door of Destinies is on the field, counters get added for each zombie, which becomes +1/+1 counters for your creatures. If Doubling Season is in play as well, all counters placed on Door of Destinies double!
Land Dorks, Ramps, and Rocks: Cabal Stronghold, Crypt of Agadeem, Dreamscape Artist, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, Expedition Map, Leyline Prowler, Liliana of the Dark Realms, Maraleaf Pixie, Naga Vitalist, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Nylea's Intervention, Oracle of Mul Daya, Sol Ring, Sultai Banner, Sword of the Animist, Terramorphic Expanse

Akroma's Memorial provides creatures you control with flying, first strike, vigilance, trample, haste, and protection from black and from red. If Darksteel Forge can be put on the battlefield, Akroma's Memorial will be very difficult to remove from the game

Riftsweeper to return key exiled cards should they be removed from the game to the library
