Maybeboard

Updated list to work on using ETB triggers in conjunction with sac/discard outlets and The Scarab God's recursive abilities to create more of a toolbox than its previous form, which focused much more on flooding the board with zombie tokens and using the God's first ability to burn away at everyone.

After much playtesting with the original build, it turns out the zombies build of this deck isn't/wasn't very good. It's way too prone to removal, board wipes, and pretty much any other form of disruption you could think of. Getting a Scarab God on the field with a ton of zombies on board scares everyone a hell of a lot more than a Scarab God on a blank field with a toolbox of a graveyard.

For now here's a quick rundown of each section and some of the more interesting/out of place cards in each. Will update this whole description to be more of a primer as time goes on.

The Scarab God

Use this guy for his second ability, trust me. That first ability is a complete afterthought with the way this deck is set up. Essentially with this, we're looking to turn our graveyard (and everyone else's too bc why not) into a massive toolbox of ETB effect creatures, allowing us to pay to fetch up any effect we could need at the time. Need removal? Graveyard's got you covered. Need to steal a problem card? All set. Want to steal massive amounts of life from everyone at the table? It's all in the yard.

The Scarab God is one of my favorite commanders too as we don't have to worry about his CMC growing and growing after being killed over and over thanks to his last ability. Watch your friends pay 8, 10, 12+ mana for their commanders while you're safely dropping him for 5 every single time. This dude drops for the same cost every single time while making your opponents think twice about whether it's really worth wasting a removal spell on him. It's a lot more helpful than I ever realized when I first saw this card.

Considering how this deck works, we want as many creatures as possible in both our and our opponent's graveyards. Nothing feels better than watching a problem creature head straight to the grave, only to end up on your board right after.

For this section I decided to include any card that lets us add cards to the grave from anywhere, whether for us or our opponent. Therefore, cards like Zombie Infestation fit right in here.

I put this panel here to say I'm including tutors in the draw section. There ya go.
