Game Plan

Get the commander out and wheel. Being able to generate upwards of 21 snakes a turn creates an ungodly level of pressure. Combining the creature generation with cards like Impact Tremors and Purphoros, God of the Forge makes for an insanely fast clock. Keep in mind attacking for damage is a secondary game plan; wheel and pinging is our primary strategy.

Down Grades

Some of the cards are extremely expensive. So, if a player doesn't have the card, doesn't want to obtain the card or their play group doesn't allow proxies; the maybe board contains playable cards that can be slotted in that fit the theme; this was built without a budget in mind and the intent was to maximize the Commander's ability.

Notable Exclusions

Some cards will be added to the maybe board to provide more budget friendly options.

Psychosis Crawler - this card is solid. However, it doesn't have a significant enough immediate or impending impact on the board and chance are if we have 5 mana we want to be playing our commander

Temple Bell - there are just better options to be casting at 3. The aim of the deck isn't incremental advantage; we want to be explosive

Geth's Grimoire - this card definitely has a high ceiling but a very low floor; so, we have 7 "wheel" effects that discard hands and a Snapcaster Mage most of the time this will be a 4 mana do nothing
